PV and NCAT are my favorite band entrances. The rest are boring. Especially SU. Most play a song for a minute and the entertainment is over. Then you have to watch them walk in for 20 minutes. PV entertains the whole entire march-in. It is exciting to watch and you can actually dance to it.
How many members are in this band? I thought TSU had a large band but this is phenomenal. Oh My! Your tuba section is larger than our entire band. Father, I pray for increase. In Jesus Name!
Phyllis Lowe I’m not sure exactly but I think around 250, for my freshman year last year, my school and many others gathered up at PV and had a mass performance, including the other schools there was a total of more than 400 people, it was a great opportunity, and really fun too!

If only all band members put equal effort and enthusiasm into the movements (unless it's a really hot day and you've been marching for miles..) then marching and formations etc. would look way better. And no, i'm not trying to bash PVAMU...this goes for almost every band I've seen. In fact I'll give PV some credit, because they are the only Southern school I've seen so far put money into the drumline section like that.

I cant remember the actual term for it so ima juat say conductor But the front conductor could have blown the whistle a little harder could barely hear it the whistle plays into the look, Showing being a good leader loud enough saying the commands but looking fierce nobody is scared or intimidated of a quiet whistle Gotta put some umph in it
MoneyGod vG the head DM isn't whistling to the band but to the other DMs to start routines. It's not for the audience to hear just the other DMs. Would be annoying to hear all that whistling.

It’s so hard watching the male drum majors having to contain much of their abilities as to not upstage the head drum major. That makes their routines so boring. A band of this level deserves more. I’ve seen better high school drum majors.

Melvin Shorter The Marching Storm started the Macy's Thanksgiving day parade with the same drum major routine. Jsu is good but PV is good as well. Just different.
