So true. My guild has a policy to watch all boss guides before going in to the next tier, they even post all of Joardees guides on DC. Imagine my surprise when on first PTR raid 95 percent of people hadn't watched a thing.
How long do the ghosts stay up? Do they chase you down forever until they hit something? Are they flexinated onto you? Will they blow up before it gets to you if another player runs in its path?
Suggestion for ghosts. Dw shoots out ghosts as projectiles so if you are watching her you can already see where the ghosts will land even before they appear
Addons should be able to announce if they're on you as well. There will for sure be a weakaura yelling at you if the ghost is on you. Additionally when you see the spirits around you; if you wiggle your character sideways relative to the ghosts's position and the ghost is on you, you can see the ghost's jerkily trying to chase you.

Agreed! The ghosts are going to be the big issue groups face - just gotta emphasize to your guys that their DPS doesnt matter - JUST DODGE GHOSTS AND YOU WILL WIN

Is it doable with 2 tanks? like 1 pala bubbleing at 5 stacks taking 10. And If a fury warrior gets 2 stacks with shield wall on, maybe MT resets the touch and can go 15 stacks?
They despawn but they also respawn very quickly afterwards. Ghosts will be a primary mechanic to watch out for throughout P2 because of this. Iirc they respawn every 10 seconds pretty much. They spawn, chase someone for like 5 seconds, despawn, and few seconds afterwards they respawn and repeat.
It's doable, but you need to trust your kicker + great healers. 1 frostbolt + aa and you are likely dead without major cd in togc full cat gear (as HC ofc).
Honestly just a Bear tank would work out - they do okay DPS in cat form and having the extra health and armour would smooth out the fight during progression.
I’d say that’s fine - like arialpew mentioned just make sure you kick those frost bolts. But this fight really isn’t a DPS race so don’t worry about losing that damage
U promised if we avoid purple ghost adds we will kill boss well.... Our tank died on adds and was really struggle even to get aggro on it with 2x MD XD
The aoe strat seems harder for little benefit. The old dad strat was to split the raid, and Fight the adds at the bottom. This is probably the easier strat for progression imo.
I actually think it's going to be easier. Less distance to travel for melee, don't have to worry about losing aggro, adds get evenly cleaved down so you don't have the awkward scenario of for example 2 mages having their magic immunity bubble up because they took too long to kill. It just simplifies everything imo.

It's different, this is boss fight, that's trash mobs, if they kill MC'd targets during a boss fight (unless it's yogg MC due to low sanity) they are legit trash at the game and should not be raiding heroic whatsoever.
Don’t forget to kick those frost bolts in phase 2! Any other tips I didn’t mention that your fellow raiders should know?

Warrior tanks can intervene on cd to help wipe threat on any aggro dps the last phase, especially ferals
5:48 to avoid confusion, she still Mindcontrols and DnD's during P2 on heroic. You can notice it in the video aswell

Yes they despawn quickly, so just run for a bit and you should be good - 5 seconds

To clarify, do the Phase 2 ghosts detonate upon hitting ANY player, or only their intended target?
Only their target, which can be difficult to tell so just run away from them!

She is not tauntable so your only option is to have 2 tanks build threat so that when the first gets 100% aggro reduce, the DPS won't overtake a tank
I know she is not tauntable but the tank will have 0% threat so the warrior or the bear can overagro afterwards and reset the MTs stacks@@toaster13666
What are the differences between NM and HC on this fight? I doubt we'll get her down on HC for the first few resets

I got hit by a ghost. 😢 But to be fair what I learned from it is that there is a macro to make the camera zoom out further.
So, find ghosts and run to them for a damage buff in phase 2, gotcha!
But parse matters tho when everyone worships logs we have to do all we can to parse

Those ghosts very annoying, they're not very good visiable and you can't see their nameplates, so very easy missiable in heat of fight =(
