Larry Smith was always good at beating teams that had the word 'State' in their name. I'm a USC alum and was glad to see our guys get the win, but I thought the OSU should have run the ball more. I think once they got behind, they went to a passing game that was pretty ineffective. Their OL and running backs could make good yardage on USC and they would have been able to control the ball better. Oh well.
My thoughts when watching this are that Todd Marinovich had the talent to be an all-time great. It is too bad that his demons didn't allow that to happen. Also, Ricky Ervins had some Barry Sanders type of ability.
Remember my roommate saying after this game I'm getting tired 😫of these National TV embarrassments.Ohio State beating Notre Dame back to back years 95 and Rose Bowl Championship 96 season were much better results.
Talk about a beat down
Fun fact from this game, at the 34:44 mark Ohio St. Backup QB Kirk Herbstreit gets sacked by the late great Junior Seau...
We got off to a nice start running the ball with Snow.

HALLE LEW YA!
Southern California seriously need to bring these uniforms back.
💯💯💯
I like the unis Pete Carroll brought back. They resembled the McKay teams of the 1960s.
