About that is drawing more power from the system which is not a problem now but 5-7 years when games are fully optimize to push the system the limit might cause problems. This is still a console and not a PC
I disagree on the last words. It's fairly easy to take the Series X apart. Follow a good instruction and keep your screws organized and nothing can go wrong. Much easier than the Xbox 360 for example. MS really did a great job with designing this console. Even as a PC builder Im impressed by the chosen eletrical components, the thick pcbs, the amount of aluminum(middle plate) as well of copper(vapor chamber). I counted 15 vrm phases which is huge and almost overkill for a circa 280 watt tdp device, but helps the console to be very power efficient. In contrast Sony uses an 8 phase design for the PS5.
@@jaredpop463 I mix between the two. If I'm playing a SP game and want to chill I use the Series X from my couch on my nice 4K TV with surround sound. The photo documentation and screw-grouping tips at 17:15 are great. It's easy to lose track of things in unfamiliar hardware. I recommend taking extra care whenever multiple screw lengths are used. Depending on the particular hardware, extra photos of screws near their corresponding holes may do the trick, but you can also stick them through paper to keep them arranged and prevent them from rolling around or otherwise getting separated. If the screws are too thick and/or flat to push through the paper easily just use a tack or a staple to make a small hole first.

Cloud gaming is far away, but optical drives have been on the way out for years, somewhat doubt internal ones in consoles will last thru this gen they take up ALOT of space u could use for better performing hardware. Probally just start pushing externals for people who still uses physical copies.

If there aren't any, you can take a colored sharpie marker and just make a note of what the color means on both the cable and mark the color on the tracing sheet. Make written notes too ("cable goes to pizza-shaped thing" or "connects to the slot in the middle-right of the board"). And always take photos. It's best to have at least two points of reference. One is your own documentation, and the other is photos.

@@Infinite8blue it's like a couple watts,trust me .. it's fine

I'm here to rewatch the video again. :")

MS did an great job on the internals, the 360 RROD was an learning moment for them. Both the Ps5 and XsX will run cool just make sure you have room for them.
I could say the same about Sony learning from their Yellow light of death problems that happened like 13 years ago. No, the design is great on this console cause Phil Spencer has been really working hard as usual to set up awesome shit like this. He singlehandedly turned the brand around cause his predecessor drove it into the ground and left it as it was half sinking. "If you don't like our changes, keep your 360" the guy was just like Mark Z, an asshole. That is also why as good as One X was, that damn CPU dragged it down.
