So kind and polite. Respecting other people sleeping. You are a class act sir .
Yes eSysman, I thoroughly enjoyed this morning's viewing of the yachts through your eyes. Barbara and Faith are simply gorgeous.
That yacht is big.... When you pointed out the height of the ceiling... Suddenly it jumped twice in size... Size matter's 😂
I used to work on Barbara when VP used to own it
Wow.
They are truly beautiful.
Thank you.
I love your respect for the boating community...a true gentleman
Wow, what a beautiful city, another fun video. Thanks for all the hard work and time to produce these videos.
Thanks for the beautiful 4K Super Yachts video my friend......
Old F-4 II Shoe🇺🇸
Well done - good vid.
Barbara looks impressive. As it is the start of July, the heart of the summer, I hope the boat is in use.
Wow . Beautiful boats . 😊
Thanks for the video! I really enjoy the marina walks where you showcase multiple yachts.
Great reporting!
🙋♂️THANKS ESYMAN,GENOA WE LOVED ❤️ THE VIDEO AND THE MUSIC 🎶😎,BARBARA IS SUCH A BEAUTIFUL 🤩 COMBINATION OF COLORS AND THE TEAKWOOD DECKS 🤗💚💚💚
LOVE the intro !!!!
Good report, thanks.
Buongiorno. I'd love it if you did a video tour of Genova since you're there.
It's one of the best Italian cities.
Ciao
I really like the styling of 'BARBARA '. thanks for this episode.
Maybe they are having the seats reupholstered with some fine Italian leather.
Nice🎉❤
I enjoyed the video.
I guess if you take almost everything a country has you could run 10 plus super yachts. Not saying that about any specific country, but several former and current heads of state have and do.
If you go by GDP (Gross Domestic Product) and average those 10 super yachts at $150 mil each (which is more megayacht or gigayacht level), that's $1.5 billion, which 165 could purchase and 176 countries could maintain. (There is a huge gap between 176 Kiribati w/$223 million GDP and 177 Tuvalu with $60 mil GDP.) So, you're statement isn't really close to accurate, much less relevant.
When you stern-to dock a yacht, there are several lines coming off the bow into the water (see Barbara at 7:20). How are those attached to/released from whatever they’re attached to? I never see any buoys in adjacent empty spaces marking anchorage locations.
I don't know the proper name for them, but essentially there are pilings or "spots" in the water near the ground scuba divers will tie the yachts onto.
Max and Lando are no longer friends.....Conformative!.....
don't need ais in marina?
If they changed a number of crew members, could that be a reason to make a trial setup? Dunno if that is common or not.
My guess is, that the owner is comming to inspect the work that has been done, or someone taking pictures of it.
I kind of understand the bridge of Barbara (?) not being on the top deck, but the next deck below. The ship I was on had the bridge above and a ballroom below. At night the bridge would request we dimmed our lights because the Captain said our lighting interfered with the bridge operations. Maybe that's the why the bridge is forward and below what appears to be an area for entertaining?
It's possible. _Generally speaking_ the most forward rooms will be for the owner or the bridge, so if the bridge is on the deck level, then the owner's suite is above (and vice versa). Since the owner is the one who's purchased the boat and paying everyone's salary, he can pretty much sleep where he wants. There are boats out there where the owner's want to make sure the bridge is higher up. In one sense, it doesn't really matter because when in marinas, whoever is docking will be on a wing, while out at sea the autopilot helps, but _generally speaking_ you _would_ want the bridge higher up for better views for safety/awareness.
Fitting sound track for such commanding vessels! Thanks once again for sharing.
Great videos, fantastic content.
I wonder, did you manage to get a peak at "Planet Nine" under the canopy? I'd be interested to know.
Thanks for the videos, keep up the good work.
No was completely covered. We have made videos on that yacht before however.
Love the content and I enjoy watching to catch up on shipping. My question is, in the shipyard, the vessels outside have scaffold assembled and then covered with the white material, not sure of the makeup of the coverings but I assume it is some sort of plastic? So my question, what happens to this plastic covering after the vessel is complete? Is it reusable? Seems to be a wasteful use if it is discarded after every build?
Do you have a vieo about the flags and why most of therm have almost the same flags of the same country specially the big yachts.
mmmm...makes my heart go pitter patter😍
Surely Insurers would insist AIS is functioning at all times, even when in port laid up ?
Happy Days 😂
So of course the yacht has secondary outdoor controls for docking, so the best viewpoint isn't needed for that. I bet more will be built like this with less than optimal eye viewing bridges. It's the wave of the future.
For docking yes but there’s still a lot going on from the bridge before that point. It’s not done because it’s the future, it’s done to maximise the owner’s layout of his yacht. In other words they give that more importance than the bridge with is not good.
Any word about the Australian Titanic ?
Wait a second. This isn't the Barbie Movie.
The video is like watching Beluga whales in captivity- fascinating and sickening.
Stroll sold the vessel Faith to Latifi; let's say for a 150 Mills. This - I (think) is a vivid example how over paid the Formula 1 Teams are! To be able to save up (steal) THAT kind of money while he was a team leader speaks volumes about him. While the guys that do the actual work - with absolutely no room for error - get paid pocket change!
Thanks for the upload!
Stop being greedy and dramatic. They don't make "pocket change:" Did you even try 10 seconds of research? _"Estimates for pit crew and mechanic salaries range from $30,000 for a person who stands by with a fire extinguisher in hand to $1,000,000 for an F1 pit crew chief."_
In addition, all sports are _entertainment_ venues. Their existence doesn't affect the ebb and flow of the world, it simply helps people unwind and enjoy life. Therefore, the entertainers (in this case, the drivers) are paid what the free market allows. If they weren't entertaining, they'd get next to nothing.
@@grondhero
So, you're saying making off with 150 million is earned by that guy???🤣
Guess who is 'dramatic' in this case!
(Got a mirror?)
Stroll owned that yacht before he got involved with F1. HE was already a billionaire.
Do owners stay on their yachts at times when the yachts are privately chartered? Is the owner’s deck/suite locked down most often when a yacht is privately chartered? I would not want to move my personal property out of my owner’s cabin?
No. As an owner of a superyacht _you_ would not move your personal property out; the crew would. That's one of the many things you pay them for.
To spend this amount of money you would or should have to know why the bridge was built on this level and not above. I would love to learn why.
If you have the money to commission a $150 million yacht for yourself, you can have the bridge and owner's deck pretty much wherever you want.
You always talk about "Us" and "WE drove by" etc. while it's only you visible in the video. Will you at some point introduce us to the team around you helping you get these beautiful videos together? I'm just curious, nothing else ☺!
Three? There's having money and then there's having way too much money. Must get boring 😅
Lawrence Strulović, (aka Stroll) is a Montreal born Canadian billionaire car and yacht lover, who in 2018 bought 19% of nearly bankrupt luxury carmaker Aston Martin plus 100% of F1 team Racing Point Force India. He rebranded the team as team Aston Martin, in order to provide his son Lance with an F1 driving seat. He is the current CEO of Aston Martin, and former CEO of top fashion brands Tommy Hilfiger, Pierre Cardin, Michael Kors and Ralph Lauren. He also owned the Circuit - Mont Tremblant F1 circuit in Quebec since 2000. In addition he was the Quebec distributor for Ferrari, and owns Canada's best collection of rare Ferrari road and race cars.
The music is horrible.
Love your videos, but you keep acting as though the money paying for these golden scows is coming from their 'beneficial owners' personal wallets. That's not at all true, is it?
Where else do you think the money is coming from? McDonald's? The local library? The government? 🤦♂
Of course the owner is paying for the yacht.
Any word about the Australian Titanic ?
