Does anyone here have knowledge about jessenius faculty of medicine in Martin slovakia?
I am from Slovakia and we have university Komenského in Bratislava- the capital. That Jessenius u mentioned is one of thirteen facultes of University Komenského. Its the only faculty that's outside of Bratislava. And I'm telling you this: NEVER study medicine in Slovakia if u wanna come out like a great and skilled doctor. The reason why? Well... Low level of education, no appreciation of talents, dumb entry exams, terrible teachers and if u stay in Slovakia, you'll do a very hard job and be paid poorly. Only 1500-2000€ as an average doctor. Believe what I'm saying. My father is a doctor and he studied in Komenského university and is now working as ,,primár" which means a boss of doctors but to have that tittle, he had to do three atestations. And he said it himself: ,,Slovakian health care sucks." So dont waste your time in Slovakia. Better go to Chzech republic. Its not as good as UK, Germany, Denmark and those very improved countries, but its definetly much much much greater than Slovakia. I want to be a doctor, but I'm not gonna study here like my father did, cuz I know its not worth it. But I definitely recommend u every english and other german languages speaking countries. And France, Spain and Italy off course.😊
A C in maths?we have all been there😂😂
Wallace Z not me
I feel like I’m not smart enough to do biology and chemistry for a level but I really want to become a psychiatrist
You’ll never know until you try ☺️
Never believe this lie about yourself. Just work hard and you will see that you can be way better in Biology/chemistry. You can achieve the necessary grade to get into medschool. Don't give up and believe in yourself and in Jesus Who can give you victory over your struggles.
@@priscarogi2183 Amen !
Thanks Petty! so many people feel so depressed after A levels because they feel they'll never be what they really want to be yet there're so many options and it's not ALL about grades. Imma bring em all here. You're the bomb.
Caroline Gona it’s so so true because people feel like it’s the end of the world and I get it because it’s how it’s presented to high school graduates that if you fail your life’s over but that’s deffo not the case. But yeah thank you girl xx
Wow girl this video was so helpful! Gave me so much hope thank you lots xoxo
you are the best advisor for med school in the whole of youtube you actually gave me hope
Oh yay thank you that means a lot x
Xxxx
I love this video 💕this is a real eye opener
i’m literally doing GCSE’s next year so ik it’s early to be stressing, but this video gave me so so much hope!!! it made me realise i don’t have to be a perfect A* student (which i defo am not 😂😂) to get into med school, so thank you 🥰💘
So how'd your GCSE's go
Did you have teacher marked assessments too
This is game-changing info, thank you so much!
You’re welcome hun ☺️
Fav youtuberrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!!!!!
This video is so helpful. Thanks. Also, really love your hype. Lol
God's Treasure glad I could help ☺️ x
Am already in medical school but I just watched this😂😂...love the intro😂best believe I replayed it😋
Me2😊
Luckyyy😭😭😭
grades and subjects exact same as me thank you for making this cos jheez i’m overwhelmed:( xxx
This video is very eyeopening as I want to attend medical school. I saw a comment of yours on someone else's video and was wondering if you'd want to collab. Hope to hear from you soon, and I love your videos! -Sanjana
My bff was legit singing the song from the intro today in my ear lol nice video
haha I only heard it recently and now I love it!
Is it just me that thinks you look like janelle monae?🤔
I’ve never gotten that one before lol but I’ll take it x
Thank you so much
So if I get 9’s (the highest level you can get) in maths English and science then it doesn’t matter if I get decent grades in the additional subjects
This video is informative. thank you. What are your plans for after medical school? Can you work in the UK and is the university recognised by the GMC. How will brexit affect this.
Yes my course is accredited so I can work back in the UK without doing an entrance exam etc. No one knows how Brexit will affect anything tbh in any field because we still have no actual Brexit deal lol so we have to wait and see but at the moment all is well x
your video gives hope... Thank you for that:-) can you please tell what language you are being taught in that university? is it English or do you had to learn Lithuanian? if yes, for how long before you can actually start medschool?
English :) and thank you.
Hey Nellah! I have a really important question for you. Since you don’t have any relatives who were doctors or someone to guide you through the beginning of med school, how did you survive med school and where did you get notes to prepare yourself for med school and the mcat?
Hi dear, I had a few friends who gave some tips but to be honest I just did a lot of research online and attended workshops, read books etc. I also didn't sit the MCAT because I didn't know enough on it and i wasn't prepared.
Do you still get student finance if you apply abroad?
My brother got 2 B's for his exam in Year11/S5 and he wants to go to medical school but he has been crying for the last few days because he thinks he is not going to get into any medical school, we live in scotland
What about going from nursing to medicine is this possible?
Hi girl!, thanks for this! just wondering, what are the lowest grades you've heard someone got but they still got into medical school.
the lowest i've heard is 3Cs at A-levels and they got in based on the entrance exam but they also struggled a little during the first few years of medical school.
Love your video thank you for the information 💕 Do you anything about Vilnius University medicine in english. Is it diverse?Students? The quality compared to your university?
Also, is learning Lithuanian language difficult?
Thank you in advance 😊
Honey M hi dear! I actually don’t know anything about Vilnius university. I know the city is more diverse but I’m not sure about the uni.
Also yes the language is difficult but it’s not impossible :) thanks!
Is there a way to get into a medical school in uk without a levels but as an international student
Lol I am preparing myself to fail... 😭
I studied in Newcastle and now l am in Poland 😊🇵🇱
Me: about to be a freshman in a few days and already watching this and knowing I’m NOT going to do good 😂
Can you get in graudate medicine school with a Btec business level 3 (equivalent to 3 a level) & A bachelor in Psychology and neuroscience ? Your goddamn beauts btw
Hey Petty, I had Distinction* in IT, Distinction in Understanding Enterprise and D in Applied science. Do you think I stand a chance of getting into your medical school?
You can’t go straight into med school with BTECs but what you can do is nursing and then be a nurse for a couple of years and then re apply into uni as a med student.
Hello pettyyy❤ omg I waited from a video from you for so long 😊😊 and bout' I miss your videos about faith and I pray you stay strong because Jesus loves you so much dear x .. I can't wait to write my A levels next year & you'll be my agent 👑 no other best agent. I know it's been long but can you give us tips on how to study effectively for A levels especially Chemistry, maths and Biology. Thankssssssss
Manuella wilson hi dear aw thank you, yess I do want to do more faith content, I actually started a new channel ‘the grace effect’ for my faith videos but I will be uploading more on there soon. Thank you ☺️ and sure I can look to do those videos x
Nellah Grace i just subscribed thanks you are a blessing
Omg the same thing happened to me
Wait so if i have a degree do i need to do a med entrance exam or do o just apply??
I failed maths so I can’t do biology but I wanna go to medical school but I don’t have science qualifications
but don't you need to take another exam to work in the Uk after medical school abroad?
Nope :)
I want to be a neurologist but I feel like I am not smart enough. I am getting A-D. (D’s for languages) Also I am in my early teens and already planing.
There’s always btec if you feel that alevel will be too stressful. I’m doing the btecs for medicine with a foundation year! Don’t stress too much hun neuroscience courses don’t even care what you have in languages as long as you get a C or above, focus on science, english, and maths but do try to at least get 4/5 in the rest.
Can you still get to medical school with 4c GCSE n doing science course at college ? I don’t think I will be able to do it, I’m literally lost
Shahara Tamang What science course is it??? Is it alevel biology and chemistry?? Or like BTEC science??
I have less marks in matrice ☹️ but I have A+ in fsc I really want to become doctor ☹️
Hey petti, after you graduate from Biomedical Sciences, do unis still look at what you got from A levels rather than what you got from your degree?
Great video btw xx
Hi Reena! they look more at your degree but your A-levels can still count depending on the universities and also if you are applying for a graduate entry or normal entry as a graduate. But its mostly your degree. That's why I love the app I mentioned because you can check all that easily. Thank you very much :)
Nellah Grace Thanks for the reply petti and okay I will download the app ❤
Thank u so much
Can anyone please tell me where are good medical univesirties i can get into with low alevel grades?
FOUNDATION YEAR!!!! (Plymouth, Bristol, Hull and York, Bradford, Leicester, etc...) You’ll get into most of them with BBB-BBC or AAB (if you qualify for a contextual offer) there’s also Bulgaria and that where you’ll require CCC as a minimum. Hope this helped.
The prob in medical schools is expensive fees I can't fine a cheap univ I can't pay more then 2000$ per year
Me too it is really hard
Nice which uni do you study@?
Waw thankyou sm
Petty i wish u would have given me this advice like 3years ago...i luv u thx for d advice
I don’t want to be shady but I have heard really bad things about medical schools in Bulgaria and Romania from close friends. Also Poland has some medical schools that aren’t nice (the medical school in the capital is good though).
If you want to study medicine in France it’s easy to get in. The difficult part is getting to year 2 because the places are limited. The first year of medicine in France is basically a competition (PACES). I studied in France and it did not go well for me. Everything depends on the university and the number of places in year two.
No shade at all, I've also heard the same thing especially in Bulgaria and Ukraine. But I can only speak for my university and its good. Learning standards are good and though its not as great as England its good. and yes I've heard of that in France and how competitive it gets its crazy but i guess that's how they filter people.
I am glad to hear that since I’ll be starting the medical program at LSMU this September. Girl thank you for all the awesome videos 💛
Every university in Eastern Europe have good and bad points. Doesn't matter if you study in Bulgaria or Lithuania because in the end you get an MD, what matters is if you as an individual are competent enough. Also some universities in Ukraine aren't recognised by the GMC.
@@Dr.Nellah have you heard anything in particular abiut dnipro university in ukraine? I'm considering applying there
omg do i need do have the a levels before i can get into your uni even tho i have a degree :(
No if you have a science degree they will consider that
Thank you so much
you're welcome dear. If you download the app let me know how you find it x
if you have a first degree will it take 6 years or 5 years to study medicine at your school ?
6 :) you just get exemptions for subjects you’ve previously done :)
Do you know about the kings college London’s medical degree course it requires an ABB in Alevel unlike other uni’s
But you need a 6 in English Lang and Maths but I’m scared I’m not going to get this for my GCSE’s this year can you give me some advice
Aleena Antony kings college London needs A*AA
There’s contextual offers
Hey, It has been a year and I am in y11 what did you get?
There is also other ways to get into medicine as well x you can do become a nurse then become a doctor which will will be only 2 extra years or do biomedicine which will mean you will come out a years letter then the usual person x
@@tianna3622 Could you perhaps rephrase that?
Can someone translate; what does A levels mean in American?
It’s like Junior and senior years of high school. Last 2 years (the exams you take in those years are called A-levels)
Do you still get student finance if you study abroad?
unfortunately no you dont :(
How old were you when you started medical school ?
21 ☺️
Can I get into medical school with just 2 Alevels ( Biology and chemistry only)
Joker Stik you must have 3
No you need 3
Hey I’m going to dental school in Spain next year. Didn’t do very well in a levels either. How would you compare med to a levels. The problem with a levels is I understand everything but I just can’t hack the exam technique. Just a lil worried about whether I’ll get thru dent now?
Haitham Bilbeisi are you going the valencia to do dentistry?
Avleen Arora yes I am! Are u?
Haitham Bilbeisi no I’m still in year 12 but I was thinking of Bulgaria because the fees for tuition is too high in Valencia
Avleen Arora one of my best friends studies in Plovdiv Bulgaria. I’ve visited many times. In all honesty it’s all the same and I would go there if I were you. Yes tuition in Valencia is ridiculously high. At the end of the day a dentist is a dentist and a doctor is a doctor. I know a top doctor who studied in Russia who is head of endocrinology in the royal free hospital. So yes bulgaria is a great option. I’ve seen the uni myself, but I recommend you go. There is also Prague, Italy and other places. The system in this country is ridiculous. 😂
I woul lik to study medicine in spain. But i do know how
Does this apply the same way if you got not that well gcse results but good a levels?
I’m in your spot right now lol Plymouth (requires a minimum of 7 GCSE passes at A*/9-C/4), Bristol (4/C in English and Maths VIA FOUNDATION YEAR), Belfast (C/4 in maths, english, and science) it’s so possible but idk if you’ve already applied lols
@LucyBalmerFit haven’t applied yet haha still one more year to go!! but the requirements are way more flexible now I’m doing all btecs! I would say just ace the ucat and sell urself in the application x
That’s happening to me now 😂
Heyy....Nellah...I had A in puremath and B in chemistry...C in physics can you help me to get a scholarship to study medicine in the UK or any other state...
I can’t help you to get a scholarship but I can point you maybe to the right direction. Watch my latest video on how to prepare for UK medical school application and follow the link in the bio for a free seminar that’s happening on Thursday which might help you with the questions you may have ☺️
@@Dr.Nellah thanks very much☺
Guys I wanna study medicine 🖐🖐 but OT is holding me
This applies to non usa med schools :( lol
Name of song at the intro??
Its in the description :)
I've just done first year pharmacy and want to transfer into med, I got a first this year... Does that help?
T . s Where did you do your 1st year?
Sania in the UK
T . s ohokay. I was curious since I just completed first year too and want to do medicine also lol
S.B first yeat of pharmacy? Do u have any suggestions other than Finnishing mpharm and applying after?
S.B that's what I was thinking as well, if you study abroad do you still get student finance?
I’m doing the Bradford uni for one year and then transfer to Leeds 🙏🏾🙏🏾
Oh yeah I have alot of friends that did that! I hope it works out
Song please!
Elizabeth Gray saweetie icy
How come I thought your name was Nellah all along 😂😂
Do you need to do a level maths to do medicine?
Mehak Kohli you only need a level chemistry and biology
Jennifer can you do just chemistry and maths?
Open Your Mind some places will take just chemistry, but on literally every university website I’ve looked at the requirements where a level biology and chemistry. It’s just easier if you do biology and chemistry as opposed to just chemistry. They honestly don’t care if you’ve done a level maths or not tho😂😂
Jennifer Are chem and biolody really hard as everyone says?
@@mendax7125 I'm doing them currently and they're not that hard. I find with biology theres more word-y content and with chemistry there's more application than just stating what you know. If you revise hard then I'm sure you would be capable
Hi what medical school are you in?
Lithuania ☺️
Which uni in Lithuania are u at? And how are the costs
LSMU and 11.5K euros per year if you start this September. I don't know if it will stay the same in the future.
Thanks god I recently graduated from LSMU. The horror is over. I would never recommend go to study medicine in Lithuania unless you are sadistic person😀
Evy Ju haha I used to hate it because I always compared it to England. But now I take it for what it is and it’s okay. Obviously could be better but oh well. Congrats on graduating!! Where did you do your placement? And where are you working?
Why you don’t recommend lithuania? Did you face discrimination/racism
Honey M I am Lithuanian but Lithuanian students get way more humiliation than any others😂 I don’t want to explain it any further, I had enough of this uni.
What were your GCSE results?
I got 2 A* s, 8As and 1B ☺️
Thats amazing .
Can you get into medicine with 4 A stars , 4 A’s and 4 B’s and apply to a London medical school ?
What did you get at gcse??
I got All As/A* and a B in Biology
