    Great clarity of differences taught here between flesh, Sin and Old self and new self. Important to recognise temptation about having a wicked heart. Reckoning yourself dead to sin and alive to God. Able to reign in life through the one man Christ Jesus.

    • @STEVEinNC
      @STEVEinNC Рік тому +1

      You mean temptation to think our heart is wicked when it's really perfect and sinless. Since evil thoughts are presented to our minds by the parasite of sin living in us, we might mistakenly think these are from our hearts, rather than from the evil alien parasite living in us. However our new born-again Spirit and new hearts are perfect, holy, and incorruptible. They're from
      God and cannot sin. Yay! 🙌

    This is so powerful, thank-you, I have been blessed to come across this. I can remember a thought when I was very young, maybe 8 0r 9, I cannot be sure, but I somehow knew that something wasn't right with the way I was and that something had happened to change that but I did not know what that something was. I knew that I could not rest until I knew what this was. I now know that this something was what Christ did on the cross and through his resurrection. The Holy Spirit was in my life at that young age but we all know how this beautiful revelation is under attack by the "ways of the world". We know what "ways of the world" means.
    I dream a lot but have had two or three very "gentle" dreams, one where I am looking up at the cross to our Lord, so full of humility, gentleness yet the power that comes through that which is Life. The other dream is a voice which quietly said that I am "nothing without Jesus." Yet another dream has been where I pictured being part of the trial of Jesus. This powerful video helps me to believe that the Holy Spirit is at work, thank -you so much, God bless you Andrew.

    Lots old Pentecostal thought when they got saved thought they had to instant the minute afterwards. So they stressed themselves out to be perfect in the flesh. They would deny themselves they thought that made them unperfect. Then if they couldn't do it they thought they had lost their salvation, and wouldn't try as much.
    That is a trick of the devil.

      @@AsIAm3991 Right on it has some draw backs because they want you to dress a certain way and look a certain way. All of it though is not wrong, but they do think you ought to do certain things that is bondage They try and mix law with grace. Jesus has freed us from the law and we are to trust in him for our salvation and not the way look. We are though to dress in a way that modest, shouldn't judge one another for a weakness in the flesh. We have to learn what is right and wrong.

    My notes and some thoughts for this video. I believe in (co) crucifixion Jesus was crucified for me and I was crucified with Jesus. If my old man was crucified with Christ and is dead how is it then then I need to die to self daily or deny the flesh? I was also buried with Jesus and raised so that I could walk in the newness of life.
    Is it true that moments before I was born again I was taken through the process of death burial and resurrection/ The resurrection part being the new birth? What did the process look like before we were actually born again(you hear the gospel, you believed the gospel.... Is this the point where God takes you through the process of being crucified with Christ buried with Jesus and risen to new life?
    (I am now a child of the resurrection). People need to die and that has already happened if you are in Christ we have been set free from Sin(he who has died is set free from sin). We count ourselves dead to sin because we are . When Jesus said pick up your cross and follow me where was he asking you to go? He was asking you to go to galGotha the place of the skull to die with him. If you are in Christ this has already happened. In our mentality, our ways of thinking we have to understand what we are dead to (sin) and what we are alive to (newness of life) Colossians 3:3 you have died! And your life is hidden with Christ in God! (The flesh is the old way to feel OK) The new way to feel OK is to realize and understand your identity in Christ.
    Check out Genesis 4:7 (Sin is not you) Sin is lurking at the door, But you must master it. Is there a power called sin that is in you but it’s not you? We struggle with these things but they do not define or describe us.
    Consider yourself to be (dead to sin )but alive to God. Do not let (sin) rain in your mortal bodies so that you (its) lusts . Romans 6:11-12. Draw a line in your thought life and put you in God on one side And recognize that every thought of sin and the flesh is on the other team.

    Paul says...'I die daily' ....??
    I've always thought that, 'I need to die daily', to my flesh, and that it's a fight against my 'human nature' until the day I die, that's why we have to present our bodies daily, a living sacrifice before God, with the renewing of our minds!! It's a daily fight and struggle to keep 'self' 'under', that the 'Divine nature' would be ruling in our lives, God said 'Jacob I love and Easu I hate'....Esau is like our 'first-born' nature, Jacob is like the 'Divine nature', and is what we strive to aspire to.
    Esau was born first, then Jacob was born 'holding-on' to the 'heel' of Esau, which suggests to me that we will always be joined to our 'first-born nature' right from the very time that we are born, until the day we die.

    • @e_brangelical
      @e_brangelical 2 роки тому

      A lot of movies are evil, but there are some that are beneficial for the church and for evangelism. Consider the topic of guns. Guns don't kill people, people kill people. The gun is an instrument that can used to murder just as it can to protect. The gun in and of itself is not sentient and evil because it is an inanimate object.
      The same can be said about movies and music. In fact, Moses created a song you read in the Bible and even the KJV version. King David wrote several songs in the form of Psalms. The nature of movies and music is in the hands of those who create, not on the form of creativity. God doesn't judge inanimate objects like rocks, movies, or music, he judges people.
