The Ruins of Tiwanaku looked so interesting. I especially liked seeing the little faces that were carved in stones positioned proudly from the walls. Thanks for sharing such a fascinating place.
All of those faces were amazing! Another thing that I found fascinating is that so much of the area still has not been excavated and might never be discovered!
What an interesting place! I always find it fascinating that such structures were able to be built before the time of heavy machinery and power equipment!
Great video Richard! I really enjoy your narrative of the places, you could work for Nat Geo. Very interesting place, to think that a civilization was able to establish in such a barren place is mesmerizing.
This is a fascinating place. Thank you for going there and sharing it all. Love the other worldly areas. I see you are back in US now. When will you be traveling again and what is the plan for the next destination?
I thought Tiwanaku was incredible! I'll leave the states again at the end of this month. I'll spend a couple of days in Dublin, then I have longer stays planned in Romania, Italy, Turkeye and Spain!
These videos of a neighborhood or place are fascinating and well done, but I would like to see how you put it all together. How do you decide on a destination, find accommodation in a great neighborhood, travel, explore your new area, find necessities and so on? What goes on behind the camera?
Thank you for your comments! I'll have to think about a behind the scenes video some day. I rely heavily on the internet to decide which places are best to stay and to find my specific accommodations. Much the same is true, when finding restaurants, groceries and all of that! Doing research is about as much fun as the actual visit to a location!
I loved it! Another great piece. Research = A+ I wonder, was there any mention of a great flood ? Also amazed that stones weighing tons were moved in apparently the most primitive of ways. Fascinating & interesting. Thanks RG ❤

It is so cool to see what earlier civilizations were able to accomplish! Now, whether they had assistance from outside sources, that's another matter!

It is amazing to think about an ancient people living in such a desolate place!
Great videos! You remind me of Rick Steves, and that's a compliment. Keep up the good work!
Thank you so much! I certainly take that as a compliment!
I appreciate you watching!
The size of the stones the civilization moved is truly unfathomable. You have to wonder if they had help moving them from "somewhere out there".
It certainly make you wonder!

It was an incredible place! I loved wandering around through the entire area.
I'm lucky to be able to go to so many cool spots!
RG ? Are you safe where you are ?
I am fine. I'm back in the states for a few weeks, spending time with family!
Fascinating except for your ridiculous BCE usage.
