Watching this as an adult, I realize Dylan is actually the punk in this scenario. He played with both of them and ditches everyone when things get messy. He really toyed with BOTH girls and made both of them feel as if they should be mad at each other, but not him. Red flags EVERYWHERE.
The fact he just walked off without even acknowledging them when he was the one who created the situation. Kelly isn't exactly an innocent bystander, but Dylan persuaded her out of her better judgment time and time again with fuckboy excuses. And despite being bugged by Brenda, he waited for her to break up with him so that he could go out with Kelly. She *is* his second choice, but watching her and Brenda argue over a guy who played them both and run away like a little bitch is embarrassing. He was not worth throwing their friendship away. He was not worth Kelly betraying Brenda's trust, and he was not worth Brenda getting hung up on.
The shows whole plot was to play off teenagers issues. In the show they dealt with all kinds off issues teens deal with break ups, drugs, sex, racism, death etc And Luke Perry was play a character. It's a TV show. It's not that serious though lol

As anyone would.. She's was Too Good for Him.. He Always knew that.. He didn't really like his own self.. So he "Settled" and screwed up his Good Healthy Relationship with Brenda.. He thought he deserved Kelly.. He is a Pos.. And Kelly is a Toxic Narotic Self Centered Pathetic Horrible Friend.. Brenda really Loved her and She stabbed her in the back then tried to act like she didn't do anything at all.. Kelly needs to Stop she's been trying to get into Dylan's bed since day one of this show.. She's always been on her knees for him. She was always second choice. Even when her n Dylan were together. She Even hated his Lil Sister and Him Bonding.💯
Kelly and Dylan don't need anyone's permission to go out with each other, but the decent thing to do would have been to talk to Brenda. And Kelly diverting the blame is so, so sleazy.
