No cop's going to pull out his gun just because the person they've pulled over asked them to. Also, they wear it in a holster on their hip, it's not like they're hiding it. Cute joke, but zero reality to it.
^ When you don't get the joke or you act like you didn't get the joke because for some reason you are offended. The joke is simple. He is saying that american police is itching to pull the gun. They are trigger happy and will pull it at every chance they get/given any excuse. That's the joke. And even if that does not sound realistic to you for whatever reason, jokes tend to exaggerate sometimes. Jeez.
@haru lmao I'm black and America is an amazing place for me so many black people have had no bad interaction with the police or even experienced any kind of racism 8n the U.S yet they say it's a bad place for them because that's what the media wants them to believe
One of the best videos to make people aware about what's happening in the most developed country of the world. You rock Trevor ❤ And yes, Americans do deserve better behaviour from their police forces.
Honestly wish our police were this cool, I don’t feel safe next to a uniformed officer. Even worse is a judge in America has ruled that a policeman’s job isn’t to protect and serve citizens but to uphold the law (this is involved with a woman asking police to protect her then when they didn’t she died), that shit scares me
Oh no in South Africa you don't feel safe around police, there just isn't that threat that they might shoot you. Mostly because here they could not be bothered to do their job😂 we once called to report a domestic disturbance. An hour later a police station in another town called us back to here what was going on😂
This is not to generalize police by saying all police officers are bad, but the way police are organized and operate in the States is intended to maximize guilty verdicts. Even the question at a traffic stop, "do you know why I pulled you over" is intended to get you to say something self-incriminating. Police interrogations for more serious crimes aren't about getting the facts in order to figure out who a likely suspect is, it's to get a confession out of whoever they're interrogating. Have y'all ever seen a videotape of a police interrogation? It's terrifying. It makes even perfectly innocent people crack and falsely admit guilt. It's disgusting, and it needs to change.
Right? Can you imagine having a conversation with a cop instead of a near death experience? I'm white and I still shake like a leaf during any interaction with them.
True story: My boyfriend and I (Canadians) decided to go to Port Angeles ( put our car in the Ferry from Victoria,. BC) when we arrived to Port Angeles ( now sitting in our car) the immigration officer asked for our passports, and then asked the reason of our trip, my boyfriend said : tourism to what the officer continues and asked WHAT ARE YOU PLANNING TO VISIT? And I almost die when my boyfriend said in a very condescending way: I DON'T KNOW, YOU TELL US WHAT TO VISIT!!omg, needless to say we were invited to get out of the car for full search. Wasn't funny at the time but looking back I have to say was HILARIOUS!!.
I'm not surprised. Several yrs ago I lived very close to Port Huron and would cross over to visit London / other areas in Ontario. The Canadian officers were always so kind but I was treated like a criminal when coming back into my own country (US). One day I felt like telling them it was ok to leave me in Canada if they thought I was a potential threat to the US. I was sure I would get better treatment there. Now I regret I didn't follow through with dual citizenship when I had the chance!
The dumbest thing I've heard from a cop: "I had to go up to 100MPH just to catch you" It doesn't necessarily mean I was going as fast. To catch up someone, you need to be much faster. Common sense.
@@hamzterix Using logic with the police here in the U.S.... The cop would still pull his gun out because of being intellectually threatened. Nick: We live in a police state, and yet the left wants to disarm the public and the right gets off to the ‘thin blue line’. We are so incredibly fucked
In Bulgaria, "What are we doing now?" and "it involves a 2 litre bottle of Cola" are word-for-word, the two staples of what being pulled over is mostly all about. Like Trevor said, it's a game of respectful banter combined with a two-sided discussion on an appropriate answer to the first question.
Jeez.
Is that your or are you just happy to see me
@@WaxxyOne The zero reality is that he got pulled over and didn't end up in a body bag because the cop feared for his life

One thing in the South Africa and Kenya language have in common, both say leta as in give.
so many words in zulu and shona and even xhosa are the same in swahili not just leta
In Urdu leta means take. What a coincidence
But it still Swahili in Tanzania

And yes, Americans do deserve better behaviour from their police forces.
An hour later a police station in another town called us back to here what was going on😂
It's sad but in the police viewpoint, it's also scary to try to uphold the law when everybody may carry a gun.
@@seihaiteamfs7333 fuck the coward cowboys with badges, they protect the banks who own everything and everyone, fucking idiots.

Hilarious probably because you both came out alive I reckon.
Let me guess, you're white, correct?
I'm not surprised. Several yrs ago I lived very close to Port Huron and would cross over to visit London / other areas in Ontario. The Canadian officers were always so kind but I was treated like a criminal when coming back into my own country (US). One day I felt like telling them it was ok to leave me in Canada if they thought I was a potential threat to the US. I was sure I would get better treatment there. Now I regret I didn't follow through with dual citizenship when I had the chance!
If I didn't know better, I'd call that a power trip...
The dumbest thing I've heard from a cop:
"I had to go up to 100MPH just to catch you"
It doesn't necessarily mean I was going as fast. To catch up someone, you need to be much faster. Common sense.

And being pulled over by a cop who says they 'thought' I was speeding sounds similar to being pulled over by the actual Mickey Mouse.
