    People who mocked the project last year have turned a blind eye on the development of the project.

    • @Tirelesswarrior
      @Tirelesswarrior 14 днів тому +10

      There's no need to gaslight people. Nobody mocked it.The bulk of the population praised its launch. It's only the delay that was never explained that hurt a few. I remember the building blocks of the track as far as 2009.

    • @FERESE
      @FERESE 14 днів тому +27

      They mocked the project. They created a meme where the train was being pushed while it was still on diesel and they mocked the APC government in Lagos state. Some even cursed the projects in many videos when it was still on diesel. Yes, they said they give it 2 years before everything packs up. Others laughed saying they are clueless because APC cannot generate electricity to run the project. I know because I read enough comments and replied to the doubting Thomas's and the Judas that continued to rain curses on Lagos state and the country. The ignorant ones called it a Federal government project and got angry that all the developments are happening in Lagos. When you correct them, they turn it into World War 3. It's sad because when such development is introduced in their states, I'm talking about projects on the drawing board, you will see more than 5 thousand views and close to a thiusand likes and like 500 comments praising the governor and kots of prayer warriors in the comment section declaring positivity on the "proposed projects" and praying for the governors. It's a sad reality. Why do they curse other governors just because they hold a grudge against one person. They find it difficult to say anything positive in the comment section, when they do, it's criticism. My joy is that when I read comments on other states projects or proposed projects, Lagosians don't say anything NEGATIVE about it. They rejoice with everyone as it should be. Hmmmmmm

      @@Tirelesswarrior lol. The handles that posted the train being pushed haven't posted the videos of the train working. It's more than 100 days already. It's funny that you expect state government with limited budget to complete an electrified train project in 10 days.
      I can remember a state that signed monorail MOU since 2010, they've not laid 1mm of track since then, no one is mocking them.

    From the entrance of the station, you could see that the floor hasn't been tarred yet, and that is already causing dust on the escalator and before you know it, it'll start affecting and stop working, if there's a way you could pass the message in order to get it tarred it'll be awesome. Before we can improve we must first acknowledge our shortcomings instead of jumping into being defensive whenever someone point to them. BTW, why always pointing fingers to other states? It's kinda childish and myopic IMO. I want Nigeria as a whole to do better and be better than any other country in the world. We cannot progress as a nation if our people keep on having an ethnocentric viewpoint. You folks should grow up and be patriotic Nigerians.

    Just like the Lagos BRT has become rubbish after 3 years, so will this Blue Line trains will be. Maintaining culture is a big issue.
