FYI: If you like history, you might enjoy Old Sturbridge Village in Sturbridge MA. It's a living history village museum with costumed historians that teach you about 19th century life (sort of like Colonial Williamsburg in Virginia). They have events and things year-round that are appropriate for the seasons.

Also Plimouth Plantation, including the full-scale model of the Mayflower. Their staff are likewise in costume and character. I do hope that you had a chance on this or an earlier trip to see the USS Constitution, "Old Ironsides", at age 210 or so the oldest naval vessel still in use in the US!

Brits always say “The tea in the US always tastes terrible”. Now you’ve proved it. The tea bag is supposed to go into BOILING water, not cold salted water. No wonder there was a revolution if that’s how you made your tea! Love Boston, been there several times, always been a great walk around city, but with the “T” great public transport..

I'm from Boston UK and we live right next to the Pilgrim Father's memorial where they set sail.
Boston USA certainly knows how to handle tourism, and your market looks amazing.
Thanks for another great video, we watch them all !

There's a lot of living history in Massachusetts place names. Some of the counties are Essex, Middlesex and Sussex. Towns have Native names, but Ipswich, Rowley, Newbury, Salisbury and Plymouth are named for places back in England.

So fun! Boston is one of my favorite cities, too! Also, bagels are boiled before they are baked--that is what gives them their chewy crust!

Many places steam rather than boil their bagels, but boiling is preferable and makes for a better finished result.

Oh and lapsang souchon tea is an acquired taste. It was carried basically by Russian and Chinese ‘cowboys’ who got their tea inadvertently infused in campfire smoke but then after awhile preferred it that way. If I want to add a smoky flavor to anything I’m cooking, I add a tea bag or two of the lspsang. It’s great to put directly in the boiling water with pasta to infuse pasta with smoke. Then save the smoky water for flavoring the sauce as well.

It's also great for making tea smoked salmon. I wouldn't want to drink it, though.

Glad Eric's feeling (mostly) better! Yeah, learning cribbage from a book would take a minute, but if you can, I highly recommend finding someone who already knows how to play and can teach you. Once you get going, it's pretty easy and fun. Plus, you can get tiny travel size boards that are no bigger than a deck of cards, so it's a great travel game.

Since you guys are so close to the border in the New England area, why not cross over and come to Montreal. It's a great city and even more magical during the Christmas season.
