About Sierra and Stephen IRL
Hey friends! I’m Sierra Schultzzie and this is my vlog channel with my husband, Stephen. We started vlogging 5 years ago to document planning our wedding and growing together as a young married couple, and the channel has now really become our passion project. We love creating travel vlogs, disneyland vlogs, showing behind the scenes of creating my fashion and lifestyle videos, and all the little ups and downs of our unfiltered, real life. We loved documenting our journey trying to concieve and getting pregnant, are now so happy to be sharing our experience as first time parents to our daughter, Grace.
what we did in Boston!
• what we did in Boston!
As someone who has lived in MA my whole life and was born and raised in Boston, it just brings me so much happiness to see people enjoying it here!
Grace’s little toddle is so cute! Can’t believe how fast she’s growing.
Grace is so confident in her walking! Even on cobblestone streets!
As a Bostonian, I can confirm that it is NOT a thing to keep your feet on the trail hahahaha
Can confirm 🤣
It made it so much more fun tho
i love how much more relaxed you look since you took the break from the main channel , i love u so much!!!
As a Bostonian - “Fonol” Hall killed me 😂
I died a little inside when she said that lol 😂 💕
Totally died.
Right!? It was so freaking cute. 😂❤️ I was like oh man I better drop a “Fan-yuhl Hall” in the comments.
Me too!!!!!! 🤣
Same!!
For the National Treasure reference: they found it in New York City underneath I believe Trinity Church, but they send Ian off to Boston to get caught at the Old North Church. (From a fellow National Treasure fan and New Englander 💙)
Also, it's pronounced Fan-yool hall, not that anyone could get it on the first try! Welcome to the land of pronunciations that you just have to accept are true! 🤣
I was coming to the comments to say this! I’m a u.s. history teacher and try to sneak the film into the lesson plans once a year. 🤣
As someone trying to convince her fiancé to visit Boston, I thank you for this travel guide of ideas lol! Glad y’all had a great time :)
as a bostonian myself, this made me so happy and made me appreciate my city even more
When you live in Boston and missed seeing Sierra 😢
Same :(
Same!!!!!! 😢😢😢😢
I was literally walking in the areas she was showing. Probably missed her by minutes...
Same! I’m so sad
You and me both
I came to Boston for school and now I've been here almost a decade! When Grace is a bit older she'd love the Boston Musuem of Science too! There's also a Legoland Discovery Center too which you can't even enter unless you have someone under 18 with you.
You were also super close to the Boston Public Market - it's next to the streets with all those old bars. It has a bunch of different pop up vendors including a vegan + top 10 allergen free bakery that I've been frequenting since 2017! Likewise there's a park called the Christopher Columbus Waterfront Park near the Aquarium which is beautiful. There's so much more I could say, but I'm so happy you enjoyed visiting the lovely city I call home.
Hey Sierra! Not a vlogger but s wedding photographer. They do make rain gear for cameras but I actually use a gallon size bag with a hole cut out of it for the lens 😂 not sure what that would do for audio tho
I’m from Boston and this made me feel so at home I miss it so much. ❤️
For someone that grew up 40 minutes out of Boston this makes my heart smile. Happy you had a good time in the City!
Love Boston - used to live there. Fun fact - my husband was actually naturalized and became a US citizen inside Faneuil Hall. It was such a special place for that ceremony!
I just have to say that I am LOVING your content on this channel, and am so happy that you are doing something healthier for you and your family. ❤️
Omg have to say caught Grace lay her head on your shoulder( 😢 so adorable). I am so happy you guys got it on camera, just one of the many sweet moments. That alley way looks like the ally way to Diagon Alley in Harry Potter for Boston
im from outside of Boston and loved seeing all ur posts from there :) such a great city, uh def have to do the museum of science next time!! You'd love it so much and it's great for kids
Absolutely love how you and Stephen are making alone time a priority even being busy parents! So important! What a gift you guys give to eachother!
Hi sierra! As someone who works at Dunkin I’m always trying to recreate Starbucks drinks. If you like the brown sugar oat milk shaken espresso get a small brown sugar latte with oat milk with extra espresso. Same size as a grande and much cheaper 😅
Whoever's reading this, i pray that whatever you're going through gets better and whatever you're struggling with or worrying about is going to be fine and that everyone has a fantastic day! Amen
If you go back you must check out the Isabella Stuart Gardner museum! It’s a hidden gem in Boston but so worth the visit! It’s so pretty and has a very cool history!
My husband and I are planning a trip to Boston in Fall 2024. We want to visit Salem while we’re there and that requires a lot of advanced scheduling apparently. This blog makes me SO excited!
literally book your hotel now. I am not kidding. you will thank me
Sorry you got rained on. But we were so grateful for it because we haven't had any real rain in months and we're actually experiencing a draught...VERY rare for Boston. Come again!
(I cannot believe how ridiculously proud I am that you liked Boston LOL. I was actually beaming by the end of your video. Who knew!)
I love Boston & miss it so much! I’m loving your travel vlogs.
I'm a Bostonian but living in the south and this made me so nostalgic!
Also "fanal hall" killed me 😂 also we call Dunkin's "Dunks" just so you know 😉
Awww i live in NH and really appreciate that you loved being in New England! It is beautiful especially in the fall and we have a bit of everything from ocean to mountains! Big city life and small town living! Enjoy your time here!❤❤
Thanks for sharing your travels with us!! Love seeing Grace explore with you 🥰💖
I love your energy so much girlie! I work in public history and its so nice to hear you're a history lover after being such a fan of yours for so long!
Your pronunciation of Faneuil Hall made me choke 😅 Omg I love Tatte 😍 I only been there twice, it's so cute and decadent inside!
Hahaha “Faneuil” is rhymes with Daniel, but the way you said it made me chuckle. I grew up near Boston, glad you loved it!
Born and raised in Boston and moved away 14 years ago and I miss it all the time, this video made me so homesick.
I cannot tell you how happy it makes my heart to see you were in Bedford, NH! I grew up in southern NH all of my life until recently, and it’s truly a wonderful place!😊
Absolutely Beautiful, I truly love how you make us feel like we are there with you!!!!
The boston public library is stunning inside 10/10 would recommend! Also if you are looking for more museums to visit the isabella stewart gardner museum is beautiful!!
This vlog really made me want to go to Boston. I always drive past it but never stay.
The North End is my absolute favorite part of Boston. The buildings are absolutely gorgeous and the food is so yummy. Can’t wait to go back
The fact that you knew that that was the correct church from national treasure makes my heart so happy absolutely love those movies
I loved this little travel vlog! You seem relaxed and Boston looks beautiful.. I don't know if I am ever going to the states but Boston is going on the list to see!
I rarely see anyone make a vlog about my city so this was very weird to watch but this vlog was adorable!! I hope Boston Logan treated you well
Always fun to see our fair city through the fresh eyes of a visitor. So glad you enjoyed your trip East.
Boston has so much history !! The historical locations are so interesting.
As someone that lives next to Boston it was so fun watching u guys go to all the places I grew up and currently frequent. I can assure u the exposed brick never gets old. Dunkin is a way of life here 💜
I’m a newish Boston resident! I have definitely sat in that Tatte - you are pronouncing it right! I believe it’s Tatte like a latte! x
Omg LOVE watching you explore my city!! Would love to give more recommendations if you come back!
I live near Boston and it is so nice seeing a UA-camr I watch go there and vlog it! Nobody ever comes here. If you do go back to Boston next month, I would recommend the Boston Public Market, the North End, and the Rose Kennedy Greenway. They are all in the same vicinity
Loved this vlog so much!! I’ve never explored historical Boston before so this was really cool to watch. And don’t worry, I’m from the east coast and I also agree that Dunkin isn’t as good as Starbucks. Their iced coffees are entirely too sweet.
I grew up in Boston but have not been back for a long time. I loved seeing my old stomping grounds.
OMG! You came to Boston! That is so exciting! I wish I could have seen you, I live in Boston and my work is right next door to the AirBnB you stayed in :D Let us know when you come back!
I’m so glad you enjoyed Boston! If you do come back you should check out the isabella stewart Gardner museum and also the South End area of Boston is really beautiful!!
It’s crazy seeing you in my side of the world!! I love your vlogs but seeing them so close to home hits different! So glad you enjoyed Boston!
We were just in Boston in June, so this is so fun to see someone else enjoying the same sights!
you all came to my side of the world yay ! welcome !
Next time you HAVE to go to the library. The courtyard is so beautiful. ❤️✨
I’m from the cape so its cool seeing you guys on the east coast and in my state! Hope you had a great time!
i live right next to the bunker hill monument! and tatte is amazing right?? 😍 so glad you enjoyed your time here!!
I’m a fan of yours from the Boston area and it’s so cool to see you going to a lot of the places I love to go too. I’m so glad you guys had a nice time! 💜
wait i need the links to everything in your orange overall outfit because OMG so flippin’ cute
I used to live in Boston when I was studying and this vlog made me so happy! Boston is such a great city, I'm so glad you guys enjoyed it ❤️
Love the vlog!!! Recommend carrying a power bank for your phone!! It comes in handy so many times.....
Yes! Rain sleeves for cameras are very helpful in wet weather! A lot of them in my experience are for DSLRs though, but I'm sure there's some for smaller cameras too.
I’ve been watching your videos for years and it was so exciting to see you around Boston!! I’m from MA ♥️
im born and raised in SD, But my mom and all her family are from Boston! were hoping to visit soon!
you should check out life alive in cambridge (there's also a location in back bay but it's not as good imo) the next time you're in boston! it's my favorite restaurant and it's vegetarian! i recommend the adventurer bowl it's incredible
Love the Boston vlog. I'm been several times. Love the ice cream at the tea party museum. And I went up all those steps on bunker hill. Instant regret lol. Boston great 💟💟💟
I live in MA and you did a great job showing Boston and all the places along the Freedom trail with your family 😀 that was a lot of walking 🚶♀️ 🚶♂️ 😀
I’m so happy you guys enjoyed my hometown! I’m so blessed to call this place home. ❤️
It's so cool to see you walking in areas that are so familiar to me! I live in RI, but I was there the same weekend you were, at least on Friday night to see MCR at the Garden. Btw, Faneuil rhymes with "annual" and it's the Common, not Commons.
I love the Bell in Hand! So glad you had such a blast in Boston
😭😭I just moved to Boston and I wish I'd gotten to catch a glimpse of you guys (But I'm so glad you all had a great time! It's lovely here.)
We love our Dunkin!!!! I get it every morning 😅
yup!!
Lol literally from MA/Boston and some of these places I didn’t even know the history behind 🤣🤣🤣 also dying over fan-all hall
Also you gotta hit the cape and ptown next time 🏳️🌈
Lol🤣In the end you are wearing the purple and white shirt and after a few seconds I realised that I was wearing the same one🤣🤣
I am so jealous! Williamsburg Virginia is one of my favorite places and I would LOVE to go see all the historial sights in Boston!
You’ll have to make another east coast trip and visit Maine! The best time to come is fall when the leaves are changing! 🦞🍁
I love that you went to dinner at a bar I blacked out at in college
i absolutely love boston!! my cousins live there and ever since they were born, i took yearly trips to sight see with them with my aunt and uncle and it was just always so fun! I HIGHLY HIGHLYYYYYY recommend boston duck tours...well when it's a sunny day but it's literally a boat that starts out on the street...and then fully goes into the charles river and does a whole tour around the river. it's so fun no matter what age! (google it so this makes more sense lol)
OH ALSO the museum of science was really kid friendly i actually enjoyed it myself too lol
OMG I’M FROM the Boston area its so cool to see you walking around my hood! I just love watching your. Little family!
Welcome to my home! It's pronounced fan-yule-hall, but your pronunciation gave me a laugh so thanks for that :)
Would recommend the Isabella Stewart Gardner museum if you go back!
I’ve always wanted to go to Boston. Seeing this blog convinced me…going this fall :)
You should totally have tea in the Boston Public Library and grab Italian food and gelato in Little Italy/North End! I love living in Boston - so happy you all loved visiting 🫶🏼
I was so hoping you'd find the Make Way for Ducklings ducks! I thought Grace would enjoy them!
That cute waddling phase Grace is in is beautiful
As an east coaster, Dunkin is everywhere where I live. And, unpopular opinion, I think it's better than Starbucks 🙈
omg I loved this, I lived in Boston for 5 years and this makes me miss it!! Love Tatte and also was DYING over you eating and having a casual drink at Bell in Hand. I had no idea that place was historic and it turns into a full blown bar with dancing at night ahaha
also side note that if you’re not getting an egg and cheese on an everything bagel and a cold brew black at dunks you’re doing it wrong 😜
Boston is the best! I live about 45 minutes away & go often but never get tired of it!So much to do,love just walking around!Go visit Fenway next time you won’t be disappointed! So glad you loved it!!!
Seeing you in Boston takes me back to traveling there for work. I've never been as a tourist and I'm adding it to my list.
Faneuil Hall is pronounced like "Annual". So glad you guys loved Boston! xx
Love going on these adventures through your videos!
What a fun vlog! Thanks for taking us along 🥰🥰
Loved watching this vlog! We also did the Freedom Trail and the Boston Tea Party Museum when we visited! It's so pretty, glad you got to experience Boston 😁
Ahh thats so cool that you're right across from the national treasure church!! I love that movie
sierra!!! if you come back please do a mini meet up i would be there instantly
Hope you enjoyed your time. I'm about 20 min north of Boston and 20 minutes south of New Hampshire! Right in the middle! To bad it wasn't fall when the leaves change. Dunks.... don't mess with our dunks!! Fan ù ul hall is how it's pronounced.
LOVE that you finally came to the east coast 😍 I went to college in Boston and I'm from NH so totally not biased but definitely my favorite walking city! Plus NH is also beautiful for fall foliage if you come back!
When you said making our way… I started to sing… making my way downtown lol 😂
same here lol 😆 so glad i wasn’t the only one haha
We live in Southern NH. Go to Boston a couple times a year.
I am from Boston! When you come back definitely make time to go to Seaport!!
I’d love to see your, your mum and Grace have a photo in matching/coordinating outfits 🥰
