Today I'm looking at all 30 strikers in the Premier League that have started over 200 League minutes this season. Including: Haaland, Isak, Watkins, Jackson, Havertz, Mbeumo, Zirkzee, Jota & more!

Havertz in WOW but not Nico Jackson is absurd. Nico Jackson has 2 more assists, the same tally of goals (without any penalties), is more important to his side, more developed… crazy times, yeah.
havertz is double the player jackson is, he drops into midfield, wins tackles, duels, runs his arse off, i think he covered the most ground of any striker last season during the 14 games he played up top. What's more, his finishing is far better than jackson, only took one penalty last season, and has the arsenal record for consecutive goals at home with 7, one of which being against PSG in the champions league. Havertz is miles better.

Purple patch. Won’t get more than 6 all season. Will do well in the championship though.
@@johnhuntrods5447 the goals are just a bonus though, it’s his strength and hold up play that’s impressed me most. Hirst was great for us despite not putting up big goal numbers, it’s not necessarily what we want from a striker
@@euan997fair point. I think most fans would accept that if the rest of the team can chip in with the goals to keep Ipswich up. Unfortunately I can’t see it. Strikers are paid to score goals, and goals are what will keep Ipswich in the league. Hopefully I’ll be proved wrong though….

Nkunku has 7 goals in around 420 mins all comps. Hard to say he has had a tough start imo

Nkunku needs to play prem games for sure but it’s harsh to not put him in ‘Need More’ atleast when he’s scored 7-8 goals all comps already
Then you realize he's only scored 1 in the league and the best team he's scored against was...Bournemouth.

@@rubentrujillo1572 I’ve watched every match and even though he isn’t starting in the prem, he is still playing well. Chelsea will likely play 60-70 matches this season and if he doesn’t start once in the prem, he would still start around 30 matches this year

As a cfc fan his all round play hasn’t been good enough, he’s only really had one good performance that being the barrow game, we do need to see more than just goals before he’s really knocking on Jackson door to get more games

Jota has been really good, the strikers in this system don't get that many chances but his overall play has been pivotal for the start for our season
Really is a overdo, he is ok at best and as Joe said he already missed an enormous amount of chances this season in which Nunez would get slander

As an Arsenal fan I am loving the form from Havertz but nobody deserves to be in the same tier as Haaland. There needs to be another tier for guys like him, Welbeck, Toney, Delap, and Jackson. All of whom are important parts of their teams winning and keeping their fans happy (which is hard for a striker)
Joe, how on earth can you put Nkunku in the rock bottom category? Your assessment was right as to why he has been unlucky not to get playing time, i.e. Cole Palmer is the league best and Nico has made himself critical by linking so well with Palmer and being a pivotal part of the Maresca style. Even Sancho has slowly cemented the left which Nkunku anyway doesnt fancy. It's just bad luck that he isn't fitting in the starting 11 but if he keeps performing strongly as he does on every start and if Jackson starts fading, he will quickly get the ST start.
Rationale for Nkunku behind Zirkzee, Isak & Muniz? He’s looked way more threatening than them when given opportunities

Havertz over Jackson even though Jackson has outperformed him statistically, output-wise and also in the eye test is an L take.

Great video, its a great time to be a villa fan right now, I do not think we have had a better pair of strikers since the old days when most teams played 2 up top like yorke and milosovic or atkinson and saunders, but I think our current two maybe even better! Watkins put up 27 goals and 13 assists last season thats 40 goal involvements and duran is just lightning in a bottle. So glad villa turned down all of those offers and got him into a new contract, because duran will end up going for very big money if he does not replace watkins at some point.
What's the yardstick for putting Havertz above Jackson and Welbeck if in Delap's case, it's because he plays for a small team?

I think need some context for Havertz. He has scored against Southampton, Leicester and wolves who are some of the easiest fixtures in the league. His other goal was against Brighton so one decent team. Then against city didn’t complete a single pass, I don’t think that can be a wow season!
