When you are travelling so far away from home like that be very careful about food poisoning because those poor countries do not have the same standard about food safety like we do in the U.S. Got very sick in Vietnam three months ago from food poisoning and it was super scary.

I had a friend who lived in Botswana for two years working as a consultant for the UN and he used to complain about the high cost of living. He used to drive to South Africa to buy supplies. I don't know how the local people make it with such a high living cost. One thing I learned by watching your videos is that when I see a biker I will stop and offer whatever food or drink I have to help them extend their energy for the upcoming challenge.
It sucks running into genuinely nice people who want to chat but you're too ill or exhausted to properly reciprocate. Toilet frustration while traveling totally terrifies me. You're a machine, hang in there dude!
Seems to be difficult to find proper restaurants. Yves is tired, one can tell. He is planning his travel in a chaotic way. But we do not know, why there aren t places to eat. The fried potatoes in the plastic bag and the meet. . I do not know. For me, this was not propper food. When you travel, you need the best food.
Unbelievable how much endurance and willpower, and you definitely have angels watching over you like Riana, what a beautiful host! One of the best YT channels! Praying for your speedy recovery.
Sorry about food poisoning. If you can try carry charcoal tablets with you and loperamide. Thank you for your kindness to the san kids for being patient with them and buying them lollipops. Thank you for acknowledging Batswana as law abiding people and people who do not beg. We appreciate you 🫡🇧🇼
Loperamide can be dangerous to take with food poisoning- diarrhea is the body’s way of ridding itself of the bacteria/parasite/virus that caused the illness.
I had such a problem during a teaching year of mine in Russia, feeling near death and not at all pleasant until just have to see it through for three days. But to be on the road as you are must've been an enormous challenge of endurance. And at the end to find such a wonderful host - wow - this episode of yours has been epic on so many levels. Good on you, man. Safe travels
@Warrach_Warrior - what the heck are you talking about? What I'm saying is regarding the problems with dysentery. In my case, I was teaching at a Moscow university during an economic crisis year in the late 1990s and health care wasn't at its optimal. In Yves case, he's been on the road in Bush country, which is so remote and inaccessible to modern facilities. Rhianna is an angel.
Well done Brianna. You are a beautiful soul. Great work and great work Eve. You are the master of your mind and body you punched through. I know how bad that food poisoning is about doing and accomplishing that ride

The movie was made in South Africa . The San and Khoikhoi tribes are found in Botswana Namibia and South Africa. Kalahari desert covers the the three countries too.
I was stunned to see how much knowledge you have about the San and their history! I learned a lot.
