- On this episode we take this heap of a Jeep and sweep everything out of it from running gear to literally sweeping the dirty rust out of the tub. We've also got some very irrational plans to rebuild it with an engine and transmission combo that's waaay to looong to properly fit.

My favorite channel, just a couple of friends wrenching on old vehicles. No fake drama (we have to finish it in time for the auction!!). I live in BC so can relate to needing a toque to stave off the damp cold when working in the garage. Looking forward to seeing you guys back at the drag strip.

This is so weird. My dad has a 73 cj5 he rebuilt about 9 years ago, it started out in a similar condition, with the same color, and the same body Armour on it, it also spent some time on old chrome wagon wheels with similar old all terrains on them. I had to do a double take when I saw the thumbnail, it looked mighty familiar lol

That transmission you pulled out is impossible to find!
Should have just pulled the body off the frame.. my buddy has 1987 Jeep Wrangler with a ford 460 in it with Dana 60 axles. It was so much easier to retrofit everything without a body on

hey you guys should put a mercedes OM617 diesel engine in that jeep!!!!!!!!!!!! that would be better than that v6!!!!!!!!!!

I don't know how to get in touch to send some pics of the jeep. It's also a TBI setup good for trails.
I have a 70 CJ with a 90 350/turbo350/transfer case with Dana 44/discs and 538 gears no problem.
Do you still have the engine and transmission that came out of the cj?
