- We are playing more of the awesome infected gamemode on BeamNG drive, this time on the battersea map from dirt 3 (painstakingly converted into Beam by Amy)

Infected modes have always been great. Brazen with the only Victory while being surrounded. Some near misses, some teamwork, and I would definitely love to see how strategies change in the future.
it would be nice if there's an easy way to do voice chat, two channels, and when you get infected you can join the other channel.
The chases in this were pure concentrated awesomeness

You definitely need to do more of these. This mode is so fun and intense and has me on edge every time I watch it. I swear I shouted in surprise at every close call you had.

Bravo Amy! Also probably worth outlawing black liveries/cars whilst playing Infected/Outbreak, so there's no confusion as to who's been tagged/who has not. Highly fun video to watch

The infected gamemode from Dirt 3 (and maybe 2?) was something I was just thinking about the other day. Really really glad to see this.
There was no infection or outbreak as its called in dirt 2 only in d3

Another brilliant video of fun, and seeing more fun with the Infected mod, this time on this map, is just as good as always. May I suggest the US West Coast map next time?
This gets a like before I even watch it, purely for location nostalgia. I had the opportunity to visit the ruin before it got redeveloped, back when I was studying in London.

I would love to see a version of this game mode but no name plates for anybody and no rests.
If nameplates were turned off for the infected, someone would just hide in a bush and you know it 😂. Having tags pop up makes it easier for hunters to close in on runners, which leads to better chases imo.

Infected is always fun, but BeamNG really is the perfect game for it, cars being absolutely destroyed and crumpled with doors flailing and bits falling off from a t-bone makes it SOOOO much more satisfying than Forza for example.

the only thing that bugs me a bit is being able to see where exactly the infected are. if it was like to show where he is every 5-10 second i feel it would be better because you cant predict exactly where they are that way

Alex isn't stalling I don't think. If you stall, the game will let you turn the engine back on by rolling. I think Alex is repeatedly turning off his engine.

This was the free roam map in dirt 3 i played tag with my buddies when we played it

event hosts in my discord server will probably be hosting some infected games at some point :3
If you’re having lag problems when recording stuff like beamNG it might be due to your cpu being overloaded. Check your video encoder. Using a software encoder (x264) will use your cpu. Whereas, a hardware encoder such as AMD’s HW H.264 or NVIDIA’S NVENC use your Gpu. May be worth a shot to see if you have a better performance with a hardware encoder!

Alex does play beam on a controller, otherwise it'd be mega jank
@@eddiev2257 but looks closely to his steering, it's not smooth as it's used with controller, wheels turn to max angle every time
