    I can't believe the price. I think that's crazy. I'm a dmax fanboy and have an 2022 X terrain. Mine was $61990 drive away from the dealership and that was with a few extras like bonnet protector and weather shields on the windows. Nearly $80k. Wow.

    The lowest point is the diff which is tyre height. The suspension lift has nothing to do with minimum ground clearance.

      @@mattyoz0 Thanks. In that case the HiLux wins as its lowest point is 265mm vs 244mm.

    Great preview and video mate ! If only Isuzu just slapped a bi turbo or tuned their engines . Since my dad's 2023 isuzu d max v cross 3.0 is tuned to abut 182kw and 545nm of torque.

    Love the look of the Blade, maybe too many decals and could do with an extra turbo for higher output .

      Walkinshaw or GMSV are shit scared to ad 1KW to a diesel ute for some reason.... thats why the "HSV" Colorado failed and was just some suspension and a sticker kit.

      Do you void the warranty ?

    • @AndrewHacking
      @AndrewHacking День тому +1

      @@mvnorsel6354you can't void a warranty in totality. What could happen is that any engine or transmission issue could be claimed by the manufacturer to be caused by the after market modification as it can fairly be argued that the vehicle is being operated outside of its design tolerance and on that basis refuse a particular warranty claim. But there are many components on a vehicle where a warranty claim could not be reasonably refused.
      In respect of an engine or drivetrain, claim it would probably not be something you could reasonably defend and your best cover would be specific warranties from the after market tuner to cover any claim refusal by the manufacturer of the vehicle who refuses such claim on the basis of the ECU tune.
      Put it back on the tuner to put their reputation and money on the line rather than you the customer bearing all the risk.

    Shame, it’s almost the perfect dual-cab … just slightly more Kw nw and rear disc brakes to match the GR would be a runaway success.
    It’s a great size as well because dual cabs are getting very big and it’s hindering their practicality. John Cadogan has concerns about their “real” reliability and their dealership warranty experience!

    • @__PJ__

      Rear drums are better off-road as long as the fronts are disc it doesn't really matter as the front does most of the work..

    275/65R17 is a very smart tyre size that Isuzu has chosen.
    This size is ideal for Hilux and Prado owners … you get 12 to 14mm increase in diameter, for a 6 to 7mm increase in ground clearance. The sidewalls are 6 to 7mm bigger providing a bit more comfort, plus better airing down off-road. 10mm wider tread is a bonus for traction and if looks are important to you the extra width and sidewalls look good … but the best part is the fact that that don’t scrub on anything, they are legal and they correct your speedometer and without putting it out with ridiculous size tyres which damage performance and fuel efficiency. Plus this size leagally fits the Toyota wheels that currently take the 265/6517 tyres
