Also, the way she just slaughtered the wings was really impressive, especially for someone who doesn´t even consume spice. The path she is on right now, she is definitely gonna go far. Great episode!
I demand more crossovers with these two! What makes them so interesting individually is that they feed of their guests energy. Put them together and it’s the two most charming people on the internet!
Ngl, this is the first I hear of chicken shop dates and I’m now binging past episodes and a new Amelia fan. Anyone else think they should swap shows for a couple of episodes ala “The Holiday”? Amelia is a breath of fresh air from the usual ultra-famous guests over the last few seasons, felt more natural from both of them to be honest. It would be amazing if you brought Caleb Pressley, for instance, if you want a similar feel! Loved this episode
We need a Glenny & Caleb episode!!
or theo von!
It was sooo nice hearing someone give Shawn his well deserved props
“I’m ready to date you, but only if you’re hot!” Amelia at her best 😂❤
I feel grateful to witness this ICONIC moment in history where interviews are more interesting and you actually care about your guests.
The editing in this show is subtle at times, but it is very effective. Tightening the frame when the guest is drawing you into a personal detail is a great little touch. kudos to the whole team.
I love her soft witty energy so much. I can tell they've enjoyed hanging out together- beyond chicken, they both share a very basic talent of connecting with others and this just felt so easy to watch. Come back again, Amelia!❤
Please don’t change your set. I find it strangely comforting. Thank you for all the great interviews.
either her tolerance for spice is out of this world or her poise i way beyond that with how she handled herself in this episode. props to both as always
that moment of mutual appreciation at the end was such a nice touch. thank you both for all the great internet moments you've blessed us with. this has been a long time coming and I'm so happy it happened 🤩
That was the best moment for me too 😭
❤
The crossover the chicken world needed. 🔥🔥🔥
Sean will be on Chicken Shop Date tomorrow. She posted a TikTok about it.
How can someone so Mid be so famous?
@@KZ_MMA_ If you mean "mid" as "average," then I think you can say the same of Sean. The appeal of both Hot Ones and Amelia is that they both feel like relatively normal people who are having conversations with celebrities under the guise of eating chicken.
For once when people are complimenting each other I didn’t think it was too saccharine at all. I loved your mutual respect for each others interview style and shows. Well done Amelia! You did fantastic. Can’t wait to watch Sean’s episode of Chicken Shop Date.
the wing 10 moment really got me in my chicken feels - i appreciate sean so much for even seeing her for what she is. i love these two this is content for the future
Amelia has such an endearing personality. Something about her is so sweet and kind and genuine and it's really just nice. Wish her more success bc she really seems like a sweet girl.
They made this interview for each other not for us! Absolutely beautiful
Amelia handled those sauces beautifully! She managed to stay so focused on the questions
To be honest, when Amelia started her show I didn´t really like her that much, but she has really grown on me. She is so talented and kind and funny, and quite humble as well. This episode was so wholesome! It was great to see these two together, I actually even got a tear in my eye towards the end. Also, the way she just slaughtered the wings was really impressive, especially for someone who doesn´t even consume spice. The path she is on right now, she is definitely gonna go far. Great episode!
Mad respect that ending salute to each other was warm and heartfelt congrats to both of you for being genuinely great and unique interviewers
I demand more crossovers with these two! What makes them so interesting individually is that they feed of their guests energy. Put them together and it’s the two most charming people on the internet!
Amelia made that “Two GOATS” joke and Sean didn’t catch it lol. Don’t worry girl I heard it 🙌🏾
Ngl, this is the first I hear of chicken shop dates and I’m now binging past episodes and a new Amelia fan. Anyone else think they should swap shows for a couple of episodes ala “The Holiday”? I don’t think Amelia could hang with the wings like Sean, but the hard hitting questions on Chicken Shop Date and the awkwardness on Hot Ones would be a fantastic mix! 🤣
Same!
I feel like she handled this better than a lot of people, especially for someone who claims she doesn’t eat much spices 😂
I feel like us Brits are generally just pretty resillient. Like it is spicy but it isn't world ending or earth shattering. Keep calm and carry on became a meme but it really is our mantra.
She barely takes a bite out of each wing that’s why lol
She did not pass the hot ones challenge.
Like this comment of you agree’
Who knew that the best interviewers in media would use the medium of chicken 😂
Chicken is the equalizer
The most delicious meat imo
Good point, i genuinly think both of them is at the top of the interview game.
😂😂😂
Her Jack Harlow interview is legendary. I thought she was doomed after the reaction to the first wing but she bodied them!
She bodies those wings, just as Jack Harlow is bodying her
2 people who work in the space of interviews, interviewing each other is genius 😍 so much fun and I love the insight
Never heard of this young lady before today. Now I have subscribed to her channel and furiously watching interviews. She was an absolute please sure watch, and I am really happy to be so surprised. Sean is broadening my tastes in more ways than I ever thought. thanks, my dude!
Amelia is a gem. She’s so refreshing in the world of celebrities.
She's a celebrity? Of what?
I guess entertainment. She is technically a celebrity @@Jason_Van_Stone
@@Jason_Van_Stoneshe’s popular in the UK

@@RottedDollface oh, I'm sorry I'm not aware of every d-list, online streaming "celebrity." How shameful of me!! I'm sorry the internet gave everyone their own t.v. show...
Finally, a British guest has redeemed us. I was worried, nay, ashamed of the abysmal display of Gordon Ramsay that we would always look bad. Amilia absolutely smashed it while keeping cool.
Gordon Ramsay is Scottish.
@thomasbecker9676 He was born in Scotland but raised in the UK, so he's definitely also British.
@@thomasbecker9676All Scottish citizens are British.
Gordon Ramsay? He completed all the sauces. It was Ricky Gervais that failed so readily, he hardly tried.
@@thomasbecker9676Scotland is in Britain
These two have great chemistry. Like I'd watch a travel/food show with these two as the hosts. That would be hilarious and sweet.
I’ve dreamt of this moment. Amelia and Sean are precious wholesome babies and must be protected.
👶🏻
The way she handled the spice made me notice more how much Sean was sweating. Clearly we need an Amelia, Sean, and Chilli Klaus crossover! I have no doubt they’d have such great chemistry!!
I love that she was so taken back by the good questions. What a good interview, you can tell he really put thought into it
That was sweet how cool to be able to so deeply connect on something soo deeply specific as interviewing celebrities in awkward, chicken-driven situations.
"A better friend would've warned you" is definitely Sean responding to the comments made on their sauce lol
this was one of the most wholesome hot ones interview, Amelia is amazing
He did, it was just posted.
Wow she handled this like a pro!! Went from not liking spice, to struggling a bit with sauce 1, to a completely calm expression while her mouth burns subtlety with the last dab 👏🏻
This was honestly a joy to watch and I can’t even point to a specific reason why. Both people seem so down to earth
her spice tolerance is impressive. she just walked through that. maybe the more spicy food you eat, the spicier food tastes...
Uh no lol
Not really. You definitely build tolerance the more spicy stuff you eat. She probably just has a naturally high pain tolerance.
Have you heard some of her date's dialogue in the chicken shop? Pain tolerance throught the roof.
The Chicken Shop Date made me smile and this made me emotional! I learned so much about Amelia and you can tell you two genuinely appreciate and respect each other.
She had me worried when she said the first one was hotter than she expected but she handled the rest so amazingly!!
Anybody else feel like Amelia could be a treasure in stand up comedy? 😂 I’d watch
Never expected Amelia to be invited here but it's actually very fitting for her to be on this show! I mean both of them became succesful with their chickens, lol.
Amelia is one of the best dead pan comedians there is... She reminds me of so many people I've been to school and worked with. So relatable!
That was the best piece of content I have consumed in years 😂😭 Amelia smashed it, I love that she got to tell Sean all the things we love about him as viewers! Amelia’s promo at the end, hilarious and just good vibes!! Thanks guys 🥰
17:38 Amelia's giggle here is EVERYTHING
This was so beautiful! It really does feel like this chicken interview thing is such a specific moment in pop culture and I feel honored to be here to witness it 🥹
Two interviewers is pretty funny. Love her honesty. For a non-spicy food eater, she handled the gauntlet quite well. Dawson's is a great sauce. Never heard of her until now. Enjoyable guest.
I absolutely love Amelia, she seems like such a warm hearted person.
Totally unexpected collaboration. I love this chilled, down-to-earth, friendly and heartwarming episode without being forceful. It's been a while since I got this kinda vibe, kinda nostalgic don't know why.
