Did you know that May 4th is Bird Day, the first holiday in the United States dedicated to the celebration of birds? Bird Day was established in 1894 by Charles Almanzo Babcock a Superintendent of Schools in Oil City, Pennsylvania to promote bird conservation! Join us in celebrating Bird Day throughout the next 5 Fridays by learning about bird conservation issues from students in the Department of Natural Sciences at the University of Michigan-Flint.
