After watching the CMNT for over 40+ years, this was one of the most embarrassing capitulations I have ever witnessed. Wheels' "biting" analysis near the end of the video was spot on. This team has become over-confident, arrogant, and clearly lacking leadership on the field when Vitória is absent. Playing two left-footed Centre-backs was always going to backfire! Alistair Johnston and Ritchie Laryea were playing like wingers and taking no defensive accountability (shame on them!), continuously exposing two awkward centre-backs everytime we lost possession in the second half (which was often!). Defensive shape - akin to pub league when up 3-1! Biello should have started Vitória and Cornelius along with Adekugbe (only natural left back) who, by the way, was excellent in Kingston. In the second half, adding a third body like Piette in front of the back-four for while sacrificing an out-of-form Cyle Larin (he was NEVER going to score) would have been the prudent move. Tactically, Biello gets a fat "0" for his performance, yet, the players also need to be held accountable for playing showboat football instead of killing the game off when it mattered. Beef with the CSA - grow up! There's a time and a place for this, not 24-hours before a crucial game. Sweeping changes are required at the CSA (fire the lot and replace them with former CMNT/CWNT leaders). Toxic players and anyone older than 30-32 (save Vitória for the time being), should never be called up again. Time for new blood immediately! DSC, MacNaughton, Bombito, Luc de Fougerolles, Ali Ahmed, Choinière, Corbeanu, Jayden Nelson, etc... need to be playing now! These players are the future and should be part of the mix for Copa, assuming we beat T&T, and more importantly, WC2026! In almost all instances where this happens in a game, almost all teams that are dominating take their foot off the gas. Our second half subs are not national team worthy. I've never seen 5 players come on and make a team visibly so much worse... Play our best players, do the bare minimum basics right (i.e. dont lose the ball in the midfield when you're facing your own goal...kone), get a decent coach with some understanding of modifying tactics mid game and we'll be fine.

What a hot mess! Yes, Canada was too casual, and it's easy enough to recognize that Canada needs to learn what it means to protecting a lead (tactical management). But all 4 of Jamaica's goals were under questionable circumstances. I truly hate to say that, but at 2:55, I don't know how that's not seen as Lowe winning the ball by going directly through Eustaquio. Watch it frame by frame. Eustaquio is between the ball and Lowe and Lowe takes out Eustaquio's legs to get the ball. How on Earth is that not a foul? Kone was obviously pulled down on the 2nd goal. The goal in Saturday's match was on a set play taken illegally. The handball on the 4th is the most understandable, even if incredibly harsh. I really don't feel the boys fell short at all, even if we recognize they weren't able to step up and overcome. The game should have been managed better, but we wouldn't be saying that if those fouls were actually called.

Wheels is kinda right - time for the players to man up. Canada Soccer right now is too little butter spread over too much toast, thanks in part to Canada's misinformed obsession with "equity." The men aren't playing in windows because why - if the men play then the women must play also? What BS is that logic? The Canadian govt should fund programs equally, and then each program must generate it's own revenue. Right now women's soccer - IN CANADA - is a boat anchor AND the men advocate for equity. There's other problems for sure, but this is one of them.

What a hot mess! Yes, Canada was too casual, and it's easy enough to recognize that Canada needs to learn what it means to protecting a lead (tactical management). But all 4 of Jamaica's goals were under questionable circumstances. I truly hate to say that, but at 2:55, I don't know how that's not seen as Lowe winning the ball by going directly through Eustaquio. Watch it frame by frame. Eustaquio is between the ball and Lowe and Lowe takes out Eustaquio's legs to get the ball. How on Earth is that not a foul? Kone was obviously pulled down on the 2nd goal. The goal in Saturday's match was on a set play taken illegally. The handball on the 4th is the most understandable, even if incredibly harsh. I really don't feel the boys fell short at all, even if we recognize they weren't able to step up and overcome. The game should have been managed better, but we wouldn't be saying that if those fouls were actually called.
