Amazing how many small projects pile up into a large pile. Even the small repairs feels good and victorious. Thanks for sharing.

What a difference when you sit the door how much more solid it is now. Finding sheet metal screw from previous owners grrrr. lol

So nice to see old vehicles taken care of. By taking care of the little things, it is much more likely a vehicle is repaired when a big thing happens instead of being sent to the scrap yard. Keep the Land Rover videos coming!

Nice little video showing how you solved the various little issues that came up. Thanks for the mention of 3m trim tape. I already can foresee several places I'll use it on my Jeep wj.

This has been enjoyable to watch but an obsessive part of me wants to spray the door interior with rust stop.

Yes , Yes !!👍More videos like this , working on the old classic Land Rover Defender , and trips out on the trail in the Defender , and of course working on , and trips off road and exploring in the Jeep...FANTASTIC !!! content .... Two of the most Iconic off roaders ever built . Two thumbs up👍👍
Cheers Wild Bill Jeep overland exploring the Boreal forest , Arctic Watershed and Taiga of northern Ontario and Northern Quebec , and the James Bay shore. Never stop exploring!!!

This was a fun video Chris. That door is good for another 30 plus years. A good upholstery shop can do wonders for those seats. No need to buy new.

Really enjoyed this episode! Being non mechanical, I am always VERY hesitant to take apart and “dig in”, so I admire and appreciate your “bravery “!! I would have a door in pieces on the floor with various screws, fasteners etc and be thinking of selling “As Is”!!! LOL!

How long before you address the front end issue & replace the tires? … seems to be a pretty high priority … looking forward on how you “upgrade” the remainder of the interior …

Although I understand how these can be problematic, if one adapts the “reuse” concept, they are very much a solution. Among other things, I reuse mine to line my household waste receptacles. They are far more degradable than the trash bags sold solely for this purpose. And I have not purchased any trash bags in well over 10 years.
