“Hairy crazy”😂😂😂. I like to think of my change of hair and beard to the Beatles when they changed theirs during the Sgt. Pepper Album :p

I can tell you were annoyed by Sawabe, yeah it seemed awkward. Kinda sucks, but I think you did well. Tbh Sawabe is usually pretty funny but I don't know why he didn't work it with you? Maybe its the language barrier that made him uncomfortable? Did you manage to speak to them in the back?

Ya I was haha. Mostly because I got this "whose this white boy trying to be a comedian" vibe. I talked to them a bit off camera but Sawabe didn't want anything to do with me. His partner however was more friendly and kind. I don't think it was a language barrier... Some people just aren't kind really. However, only a few combis were every rude to me. Some like Robert even tried to get me in on some extra lines. Robert was one comedian that I held a huge respect for because of that. He out of all the famous comedians I met was the only one that truly made me feel like I was welcomed to role with the pros.

@@JJWalters Sawabe is well known to be pretty reserved behind the cameras. The girls and even his partner (Tsuchida Teruyuki) stated that many times in the show lol. To be honest, I found his interactions with you somewhat funny, but my sense of humor is pretty wack so I don't hold it against you if you weren't as thrilled.

Unfortunately you were invited as an english speaking assistant and not as a comedian

Actually I was invited as a comedian by my agency.... Then the lie came out and this happened.,,, But the "yes we can" at the end was improvised by me and was allowed to be on air so you can say, I made it my way ;)
