  • There is no doubt that when it comes to ink, Iroshizuku is one of my absolute favourites. They’re versatile inks that come in a great range of colours, but more importantly, they have worked well in every single pen I have put them in.
I got my first taste of Iroshizuku in December 2016, and my collection grew very quickly after that. I have not finished a single bottle of my 50mls, but I have finished quite a few of the 15ml bottles (of which the Ina-ho graduated to a full-size bottle), which are a great size if you’re undecided and would like to try a particular shade out first.
I received the Ku-jaku as a gift for my birthday (which was in April) and was looking forward to swatching it up as it is a shade I have not tried before. I am happy to say that I really liked how it turned out. The turquoise-teal is beautiful and maintains its shading really well when dry. On a dip pen the colours are rich and full of depth, while it is surprisingly a lot subtler and lighter on a fountain pen. I can’t wait to get it onto a journal spread to see how it turns out!
Leave me a thumbs up if you enjoyed my ink swatching and mini review, and let me know if you have any questions. Please subscribe to my UA-cam channel and thank you for watching!

I love how this ink goes down as a dark blue as first and as it dries turns into a blue green. It's neat how it changes colors. Beautiful ink and one of my favorites.

Thank you! Do you mean the glass dip pen? I purchased it from the Kitaichi crystal outlet in Otaru in Hokkaido. I do not know if it is available online. Yes, I used the iPhone 13 pro to record this video. It's great!

@@ziyanryu No worries! I bought the holder from Stickerrific, but I do not remember where the nib came from! I guess you could call this an oblique dip pen holder?

Hi Nadiah. I've bought a sample of this ink. Might bought a full bottle although I'm more of tone down green like Ina-ho. But I love this ink.

Hi Naney, ina-ho is one of my favourite inks, although I use it more as a brown than a green. If you like a greener shade with a brown tinge, Colorverse walk the dog is also really nice. I shared a video of it here Ink: Colorverse Walk the Dog ua-cam.com/video/bihjJe3bpFE/v-deo.html

I have to agree! Ku-jaku, fuyu-syogun, ina-ho, asa-gao, take-sumi and kiri-same are some of my favourites from their regular line-up.
