People, if you don’t already know and you don’t already watch it, ‘Outlander’ (Sam’s show) is truly one of the best shows of all time. IT IS PHENOMENAL. So well done, so unique, so well written, and such fabulous performances, costumes, cinematography, settings and locations. It’s one of the best shows you’re not watching.
I enjoyed Sam Heughan’s interview very much…what there was of it. Personally, I would’ve enjoyed the interview much more had Ms. Ritter stopped talking long enough for him to get a word in edgewise.
My God, when he grins, the sun comes out and your heart stops....you just hold your breath for a glimpse of that smile. I can't imagine being in a scene with him and the intensity of his gaze would just freeze my breath and no way would I be able to remember my lines, much less say them. He's so absolutely stunning, words fail me.
Dana Peake I agree especially about his eyes, gaze....and Caitriona too - so when they look at each other in character - boom, I’m gone. I really believe he is a great great actor....he totally embodies Jamie Fraser, from lover to father to warrior to victim....consummate actor. And yes yes yes a HUNK
he is such an empath... matching her energy... he is usually so funny and fun, but he's tuning in to how she is wanting to be here... interesting. I love the balance of sharing these two are creating together... impressive. I loved hearing him speak about his experiences......... and yes, he is beautiful in body, voice, and kind personality.
This is a very good chat to see. I feel the two have a lot in common in terms of where they were in their careers when these two formative roles were given to them.
The most beautiful thing about Sam is he is himself so self actualized and he doesn’t see himself like all of us see him Sam is so easy to love as a real person♥️♥️♥️🥰
He was so generous to Kirsten, kinda like he was just interviewing her, asking all the questions about her and her show. She didn't reciprocate back to him as much. Such a gentleman. But I've heard him say in other interviews, that he doesn't like the spotlight on himself privately, other than in his work. He is adorable, hope he meets (has met) the love of his life!
U can’t be with one person every day 24/7 and not feel deep deep love Cait is in denial when Sam and Cait kiss it is soooo real and so full of passion!! I love them both!!! Thank u both for what u have given to millions watching the outlander!!!
I had to turn off this interview she was more into herself really not interviewing Sam kindA one-sided Sam is so respectful of others he made her feel comfortable with making this interview but then that’s our Sam!!!
And can I just say he’s so beyond charming - turning the convo back to her, listening, his voice, etc. Good gracious. He seems like a genuinely awesome guy.
Why are people saying this was boring. I enjoyed watching and listening about their experiences as actors. And idk why people are saying that Krysten doesn't let him talk, she does! They're both engaged in the conversation. And yellow is a tone of skin color she still looks beautiful, she just put in a different shade of makeup no big deal. I love Krysten, leave my girl alone
I too thought before it played it was the actress that played his sister. That was why I chose to watch because I've never really seen the two of them do an interview together. I was sad when it wasn't her.
Fascinating, professional conversation between two strong, talented actors. The footage of their works adds depth. I really noticed Sam's voice timbre. I look forward to see him in future films that engage the depth of his range. Thank you both 🍀🍀🍀
All the make-up she has to wear on a daily basis for her job can be detrimental to your skin. Especially if you have sensitive skin. Not all make-up artists or production teams give a *** about everyone's skin type and its needs. Add up the long working hours and not enough sleep and there you go. They could have done a better job at blending it into her neck tho.
🤔Interesting social experiment reading these comments. Everyone happily takes there time pointing out what they don’t like about Krysten’s looks [she has a moment in the interview where she states that one of her favorite things about her character is that she doesn’t have the responsibility of trying to look glamorous/beautiful] but then the commenters spend the rest of their time melting over Sam’s every word while bashing her and her makeup artists. 😒
It's the reality of being a woman in this society unfortunately. We get judged very harshly on our looks. On the one hand, they put down women who are "obviously trying" or who get work done. OTOH, they pick apart any woman who doesn't appear flawless and/or ageless.
This is NOT about her looks! Krysten is gorgeous. It is about the make-up (that she didn't do herself by the way, so nobody is judging HER!) that looks so unnatural, many people found it distracting. Makeup artists get paid for their work and can totally be judged when they fail at it.
I could listen to Sam's voice all day, he's so beautiful and she is the best Jessica Jones ever, also loved her in Don't Trust the Bitch From Apartment 23
I actually liked this conversation. See a lot of not-so-nice comments re Krysten Ritter here but what I'm seeing is 2 people who don't know each other very well or at all, slowly getting more and more comfortable and honest with one another and learn and share something about their mutual craft and its differences and challenges. Which is what Actors on Actors is all about I think?
They were so gracious with one another. Great interview. I’m sure they were nervous, who wouldn’t be, but they were very open about how hard they work and their process. Thank you!
Did anyone else see him in A Princess for Christmas and wonder how he possibly could possibly have such a deep voice (that vibrates when he hear it with headphones by the way)? It amazes me how voices change with accents and languages.
Oh God, can everyone just shut up about her make up. It's bad, we get it. Fortunely she has a lovely personality so maybe focus on that, since this is an interview after all.
I dont get the "make up is horrible". Its her look. Dont be an ass. Why does she have to look some way that other people want her to look? She's talented. That's all she needs to be.
I'm surprised there's no comments about how Sam seems intent on putting a positive spin on every aspect of the conversation. Which is a great quality but Kristen definitely came off more real and relatable to me. There was definitely some awkwardness between them.
Hola amigos considero que deberian de poner traducción para los que no dominamos el Inglés,es una lastima que no podamos comprender nada de la entrevista miren a ver 😧🙋♀️🇦🇲
I love his voice! I can listen to him all day long! With his great listening skills and his outward charming demeanor I can see him creating his own show.
Conversations like these are very important. I find that matching these specific shows together is not actually complimentary at all, but rather conflicting, and therefore, telling. The American film industry and that in the United Kingdom are so different in their process, and I think that the lack of commonality in what both actors were saying really highlights this. Krysten's attitude of "yeah, that was fine," juxtaposing Sam's attitude of "well, at least I learned something," divides the two. I am so tired of sexy gossip that surrounds any show that reveals more than a belly button, this interview was actually of interest.

I've watched videos with Sam and Cait and obviously they know eachother well and are so natural together and then you see the awkwardness here. Sam is lovely and I think a tad shy.
@@BGWhisperer it is possible to be able to act well yet not be very social. But I don't believe Sam is introvert. I think he is probably gay and is very private for obvious reasons.
@@tsnhal9600 yeah because gay people never lied about their sexuality in public. 🙄 Regardless, in view of the fans'/followers' hysteria caused by Sam's stay at Hawaii this year and his choice of an intimate partner during his stay there, it is obvious that he is not gay. Good for him, makes his life so much easier. And given what he revealed during his subsequent breakdown, no wonder he wants to be as private about his life as possible.
@@aumelb I too read this about Hawaii (sorry for my English). But, I mean that I know many actors , not only in Hollywood, who have female fans, that they admitted publicly that they are gay. I believe that if Sam is gay, he will reveal it. The fans love him no matter what. After the bullying that he had suffered , which I think is awful to spread rumors about a man that you don't know him in personal, he finally spoke about this publicly and he would admit that he is , in order to stop all these rumors, so that not be rumors anymore (again sorre for my English). In conclusion, I believe him. He is a man so cool that he doesn't feel ashame of himself , if he was gay. I believe that if he was married, no one would call him gay....but, not it isn't like that..
Sam is an amazing actor who takes on extremely difficult roles and scenes. He’s so damn sexy!!! I thought it was a good interview, but i did notice her funeral foundation :(
he is a good interviewer and listener, excellent...now i am even more insanely in love than ever...he seems like he is trying to be his best but at the same time, it's not that difficult when you are already cool
My mother used to tell us “beauty” is just skin. Sam seems fairly centered. I suspect he got similar messages growing up. Being cursed with a face seen as beautiful can get in the way of “real life”. What is in the mirror is not who you are.
Mother also used to say, “You can’t judge a book by it’s cover.” She said a lot of stuff like that. All true, I’ve found. When people see, and love you, only for how you look, not who you are, they never want to know you. They never care about you, only your surface. And that creates a life not fit to live. Not with that surface loving person, for sure.
I definitely agree that due to Sam Heughan's nearly otherworldly beauty people tend to think of him as not bright, or only able to play a hero, etc. I will say though that it's pretty rare to have the full package as in stunning looks, and a kind, intelligent and generous personality - but Sam Heughan has it all in spades.
Read some comments about Krysten's makeup. Like she was green? This woman is gorgeous , and a seemingly wonderful person. Obviously talented. If you don't want to see her face, then just listen. She is very interesting and insightful. Thanks.

His voice sounds so different. Is he sick?
Sam should do ASMR videos, I was having chills just listening to his voice now.

I've watched videos with Sam and Cait and obviously they know eachother well and are so natural together and then you see the awkwardness here. Sam is lovely and I think a tad shy.
I’ve heard he’s an introvert, which blows my mind how he could become an actor, then.
@@BGWhisperer it is possible to be able to act well yet not be very social. But I don't believe Sam is introvert. I think he is probably gay and is very private for obvious reasons.
@@aumelb he admitted publicly that he isn't. Aslo Diana Gabaldon told he definitely isn't gay. I think they know better.
@@tsnhal9600 yeah because gay people never lied about their sexuality in public. 🙄
Regardless, in view of the fans'/followers' hysteria caused by Sam's stay at Hawaii this year and his choice of an intimate partner during his stay there, it is obvious that he is not gay.
I thought it was a good interview, but i did notice her funeral foundation :(
😂😂😂
I love Sam and he is a good actor but Krysten is a phenomenal actress. What an interesting juxtaposition between actors.
Thanks for your support on my page, I would like to have a private conversation with you on my telegram, username: grahammctavish addup
was she nervous? her neck is all red. can't blame her tho with sam sitting there looking like that.
She was nervous!!! Her giggles gave her away too!!
He was looking like a snack so I don't blame her 😂😂😂
Wow.. sam's doing a pretty good job then, without having an acting coach like most actors do
He is so kind..such a lovely man
This man is beautiful I swear😩
he is a good interviewer and listener, excellent...now i am even more insanely in love than ever...he seems like he is trying to be his best but at the same time, it's not that difficult when you are already cool
Hot Damn, that voice.
Honest conversations! loved it, lots of shop talk.
My mother used to tell us “beauty” is just skin. Sam seems fairly centered. I suspect he got similar messages growing up. Being cursed with a face seen as beautiful can get in the way of “real life”. What is in the mirror is not who you are.
Jean Fitzsimmons can you elaborate on that
Mother also used to say, “You can’t judge a book by it’s cover.” She said a lot of stuff like that.
Sam's a great interviewee, great listener, great speaker, truthful ans and kind. ❤🏴⭐
i wonder if it is the mic they are usinf but wow.. the voice of sam..
Love this... gave me insight on Sam! Both are gorgeous!
you both inspire me to keep auditioning, maybe chemistry read with Krysten
very interesting conversation between two actors!
I love hearing actors talking with each other....THEY understand.....which is very unlike talk show hosts and interviewers.
What a voice!!
Read some comments about Krysten's makeup. Like she was green? This woman is gorgeous , and a seemingly wonderful person. Obviously talented. If you don't want to see her face, then just listen. She is very interesting and insightful. Thanks.
