Chris I purchased a infinity fan. The quiet 6” and you saved me some cash so thanks for that. I’d ask you some advise on programming that thing. But with par and all taken into consideration. How much would you use in a 4x4 tent?
I really want one but not if it takes 3 months to get here, especially paying the 350+usd to get it here. Will I won't I?

Are those Leds rated for decent color rendering? Like 95+ CRI or is that a No....
Waveform lighting leds in 6.5k and 2.7k combo 97 CRI RA 95 clarity so the Plants can see the entire spectrum rendered decently makes all the difference in the World.
5k doesn't have enough Blues. And 3k doesn't have enough Reds. Just saying. And no....I highly doubt the CRI rating on the Samsung Evo whatever and 301b whatever are even close to 90CRI.
The older bubble top LH351D diodes are BAD BOYS....90+ CRI rendering capability right out of the Box....in 6.5k and 2.7k combo is a Mean Growing Machine, lol.

What size tent are you gonna use the Evo 4 in?

Recently purchased this for my 3x3 will be my first grow. What height and intensity did you have it at for every stage?
I keep it at 5 for most if the grow and set the height to achieve ppfd I want to run. I have the power supply outside the tent, and the light does put off a lot of heat, so much over setting 5, tent gets too hot. I use the Photon app to set ppfd (par). This is my first grow using this light, so I do not have any final results to share. Currently on week 4 of flower.

Hey AC Infinity, can you please open up a shop in the EU? There is no place in EU to buy any of your products, but the demand is really high. Everyone knows about AC Infinity, everyone is talking about you and everybody wants your products. But the price of ordering from USA is not worth it, the shipping and customs is just too much. You would earn so much profit from EU buyers, i bet people would be fighting to buy your stuff. And there isn't much competition in EU either, you would own the market with your products. Of course, that is if you keep the prices same like in US but in Euro instead. Please please!
Any plans to integrate humidity controlls ? Are you guys making dehumidifier and humidifier at some point ? Also what about hydro auto dosing ( ph controller ) ? Love your stuff. 6" fans x 3 , controller 67 and 69 . 2 4" fans also.. great work

Wo0o0o these lights are sick! Tested the EVO6 & 8 in our 4x4 wall to wall par 🤯🤯 AC killed it with their first bars!
Does the 8 fit in the 4x4?
@@SDgraney1904I don’t think so. I just looked into this and it’s 51”. I was going to get the evo8 for my 4x4. I’m going crazy trying to figure out what the best above average light would be for the 4x4.

Do these run hot
The Evo 8 normally used in a 5 X 5 is 113 cm. It fits snugly in a 4 X 4 - 120cm tent.
I have the light almost 36" from canopy. If I turn the light any higher than 1 out of 10, it burns the leaves and stresses the plants out. Very powerful light. Y'all might also want to purchase a light meter to understand how much light your garden is receiving.

No, there are stronger ones.
3.14 is NOT the PPFD/Watt efficiency (the efficiency reading which REALLY matters) It's probably more like 2.2 or thereabouts. Who knows till someone actually runs a test - what are we waiting for?
Lets wait and see independent test results and not just the manufacturers claims. We need Shane at Migro to put it through its paces.

I let give my opinion on my next ru,, just popped some beans. Hopefully the light will show up, before mid June will compare it to my mrdicgrow light which 880w with adjustable spectrum settings . I've always been impressed ac infinity products so hopefully this won't disappoint either. Next on wishlist is tent height extension kit big lights tall plants another 12 inches comes in handy
Glad i'm not the only one doing indoor grows during summer lol.. How do you deal with temperature, humidity and pests? I live next to the ocean and the humidity is really high during summer, above 70%. I have a strong dehumidifier but i can barely lower it to 50%, and the nighttime humidity spike is always a concern.. I'm thinking about buying another dehumidifier and running both of them.
I live by the beach to in So Cal. I grow in earth box planters in 4 x 4 tents . I'm using two aci 6in oscillating fans . One above and one below my canopy. I also have 6 in aci inline fan. I've hung a small dehumidifier in the tent too. Outside of the tent i run a large dehumidifier . This seems to work pretty well for me . Side note i also have my dehumidifier draining into a pump with reservoir that pumps water into a 5 gallon water bottle. So I dont have empty the dehumidifier twice a day and it can run 24/7 . I noticed alot more humidity this winter. Especially with all the rain. Pest im not having many issues other than fungus nats . I foliar spray once a week with em5 and yucca . Until early flower. I live alone with no pets so not a lot of outside potental contaminación plus I try to tend to the garden early morning after showering..
I watch a ton of your videos have for the past just about 4 years the summer before the pandemic I started.
How do you feel about this light for a two-by-four? And although you are sponsored by them would you suggest something you would believe to be better for a 2*4 space?
Saving up for this light not sure if I should go 5x5 or 4x4. Would a 5x5 tent yield a lot more than a 4x4? Or is 5x5 overkill?
Assuming you give a minimum of 2x2 per plant a 5x5 is super nice for 4 plants as you have just more space for them to grow in, and they are not always climbing the tent walls.i recently went from a 4x4 for 10 years to a 5x5 and wish I'd done it so much earlier now that extra space is great.
Sick. That will for sure ge my next growlight. I love ac infinity. Ive got piles of fans and circulators. I really want them to make a dehumidifier and humidifier and have full controlls integration.. thats the dream :)

Finished up first run Evo three 2 x 4 tent, 15.8 ounces in 14 weeks. Getting used to proper light height was my only issue otherwise fantastic results.

Love the channel Chris I noticed you review lighting periodically. My question to you is if you took two different model lights both 240 Watts and put them in the same space would that be equivalent to a 480 watt light? Or does it not work that way for instance 1 240 xr viparspectra & this AC Infinity 280.... would that be equivalent to having a 520 watt light?

I have a 5 ft tall grow tent with this light; you save my life with the video by seeing how you used the rope clips hangers @2:51 I feel silly not thinking this one through. Gave me another 6 plus inches of light heights!
What’s the overall efficiency rating of the AC Infinity IONFRAME? I cant find any information anywhere
I would like to see a side by side comparison of the evo3 vs sp3000 in a 2x4. Sp3000 is a fantastic light in a 2x4 space with exceptional coverage. Can it be outdone by the evo3?
Has the new EVO Samsung diodes, so probably.
That light is outdated. I ordered it and then sent it back. There's several bar lights in the same price range with much better uniformity and power.
Sleek, very efficient, its almost like they know what they are doing =)
Chris what do you think about this light now that you have one year under your belt? I dont see many reviews for the EVO3. Looking to purchase a light for a 4x2 tent and not pay over $400
I'm still running it. I like it! I have two of them now and they have been working great! No complaints here.

I just wish this 2x4 light had a little more wattage to it like the spider farmer 430/450w 2x4 light.
I added a set of the s11 uv bars that gets it up to 330w . 400 is max in a 2x4 but 30 to 40 is the sweet spot without supplementing c02
Good report recently got this 2x4 version no complaints. Quality light got tired of using budget lights I was only short changing my grows Jack Herer Auto's ILGM. 👊🏼

That's a very competitive price for a bar style whether it's 3x3 or 4x2 coverage... I guess the difference is AC Infinity has some pretty good built-in technology that allows you to automate. I enjoy spider farmer Mars hydro and viparspectra but they don't really offer all-in-one automation which is definitely the future. Some of these brands charging double need to take a look around
You can do the same automation with simple smartplugs or a system like sonoff for dirt cheap... price just isn't worth it.
Ac infinity you can now full automated ran controll, vpd setpoint and lights. All they need now is humidifier/ de humidifier controller and product and it will be full automation ( except ph and nutes .. which can be done with hydro though but us currently pricey )
@@phillipjacobs7691 that's true, but you can't ge as precise and you cannot ramp up a potentiometer like you can with the ac infinity stuff

Chris I need some real information from you how is that like compare 2A Xs viparspectra 2000? I know that was a paid promotion is it even worth the upgrade? 40 more watts and UV please give me your honest opinion it's extremely important days away less than 24 hours probably from making a decision really use a little info from somebody who actually has the EVO 3
Also my other question is I have a 20/21 AC Infinity controller will all of this be able to connect viparspectra?

How is the whole fixture rated the same as the highest efficiency diode included? Wouldn't the other 301 diodes drop the rating?
Does it produce much heat? I have a 2x4 tent and right now heat is an issue. I assume mounting the driver outside the tent would help?
David, watts equal heat or btu's! A 100w lightbulb puts out exactly the same heat as a 100w space heater or 100w tv or a 100w anything...I hope this helps you!💯

So sweet. In my 2 x 4 I run a viparspectra p2500 which works killer and in my 5 x 5 I run a medic grow smart 8. Also have a viparspectra p1500 and a parfect 320watt cob led. All work great

I have a 3x5 grow tent and I have one vs2000 in it. Is that enough or should I put 2 lights in the tent?

I'm wondering how how loosing power will effect the contoler timer, will it just resume the light cycle where it left off? Start up where it should be in the cycle? Or will it simply have to be completely reset? I'm asking because here in the holler where I live the power flickers constantly 😢.
Was wondering same. Chris. I was gonna message you about this but you ALREADY was ALL over it.
I'd imagine it's linked to the app.. if so it should resume normally. If it were me writing the app id have the infinity module controller calibrate itself anytime you were in range, assuming yours going to check controlls, temps etc in the app. This way it would set time via phone time which is automated by network or service provider so would always be accurate

I have a 100w led 2×2 AC affinity light that I can't seem to control through the WiFi app I turn it off and it won't go off any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
Chris, what's your opinion in running 2 of these EVO-3 fixtures in a 4x4 rather than 1 EVO-6? Plant height can be a pita when running multiple cultivars in one tent. Similar to your 2x Electric sky grows✌️

If you said what kind of temperatures that light produces..
The idea of leds is efficiency and because they don't run hot and they don't raise the heat or the temperature inside the tent I was kind of curious what kind of temperatures it would get to....
The ballest and led frame .. . If leds after going to run hotter cause manufactures run them harder ..
It should be free information to the public...
This way we know what kind of environment the led light rack would be perfect for...
This way we can plan around it...
Just cause it runs hot doesn't mean we wouldn't want it .. hots better with co2 ...
It helps to know how to plan for the light..
This seems to be one of the most important pieces of information that everybody seems to leave out with LED grow lights.... We expect them all to run cool .... But lately they've been running hotter... ... I have found a couple people say that these lights were really hot... but that's not an issue as long as we are prepared for it when we get it.

Its infuriating that I search youtube and online for hours and the ac infinity website itself and can't find out how to use the integrated controller. I hope I can find the manual.
They have really decent customer service. They chat with me alot
I just got the s33 do they use top been diodes like hlg
judging by their par charts on their website I think there is a little too much drop off for a 2x4 and personally don't like any UV that I can't control when it's on. Rather not have UV on all the time
I was super let down when I saw that par map. Those corner readings are low.
I own the Evo 6, but what I don’t get is why you can’t access the Sunrise/Sunset setting in the app you can only access it through the controller that comes with the light, semi sad about that.
You can access the sunrise in the app. Look at the automation controls
@@codysc12davis45 already have and even stated by AC Infinity the Advanced setting for the Sunrise/Sunset option can only be accessed through the monitor that comes with it, which isnt available on the Controller 69.
I wanted that one I ended up going with the aglex 320 watt bar light .

For a 2x4 you don't need 500 watts 400 is the maximum really 300 to 350 is perfect I run the evo 3 with a set of ion beams for around 330w

I though they have bride-flux diodes inside too it’s on their site it’s has both Evo Samsung diodes and bridge flux diodes the question is how many of each 🤔
I think you misread it. It states that it has the EVO diodes and that EVO's are more efficient than 301B, 301H and Bridgelux diodes, not that it contains any of those other diodes.
