Oulton Park is one of my favourite places to take photos come rain or shine. Bike track days are very interesting in the rain with lots of spray. The ground is always soft when it has rained so I always park close to the roadways or at least down hill. Well done pal you showed everybody you can still go out in the rain and take photos.

That took me back a bit. I used to photograph at Oulton Park in the early 1970s, even had a track pass. It was all very open and basic in those pre H&S days. It was interesting to see all the fenced off paths and prohibited areas unlike the "roam anywhere" place I enjoyed.
Great shots in very trying conditions. Hats off to you for staying as long as you did. I go to Lydden Circuit in Kent as often as I can and it's only 20 minutes away from home which is even better.
I was honestly thinking I wouldn’t enjoy this as much not being such a big car fan but loved it. I got quite drawn in to the drama of the track! The bad weather actually made for some great images and entertaining video 😊 xxx
Something very different Ben, never done that type of photography but not to say i would not. I always wanted to do plane photography at or near an airport. You got some great images there. My favourite was the red Porche it really stood out. Take care and all the best Ben.

Grea vlog Ben. Loved the images during this. You managed to capture some great shots. Not been to Oulton Park for years. With regards to the weather, we have had it really rough here on the Welsh coast hence why Ive not managed to get out over the last week. We went from Storm Eunice to Storm Franklin within a matter of hours. Plenty of carnage going on. Really enjoyed watching this. Thanks for sharing.

The greyscale picture of the GT3 at the end of deer leap/start of the start/finish straight with the pits in the background is incredible, an shot I've not seen used before either. Glad I watched - found it super interesting to see a track day from a different perspective too.

I was in the mk3 hard top, only it's 4th track outing but mega fun with something that doesn't hold too much value, get more enjoyment out of it than the Cayman R just because the anxiety of something going wrong isn't as high 😂🙌
I'm starting to worry about you and the weather. According to Google, Skoda didn't do well and are not sold any more here in the US. One thing that popped up was that they are pricey to maintain but they are very reliable. Hmmm? I wonder if the person you saw at the track was aware of that. Hi Ben, another great vlog. I’m more into bikes to be honest but the track day with the cars was really enjoyable. I know they do track days with the bikes also but only ever been on a race day. Weather was a bit against you but still managed some lovely images. Just one question, do you have to pay in at these track days to take Photos. Thanks for sharing 👍

In answer to your question, no, the gates are open and you don't have to pay, just the people on the track day pay. you have the whole place to yourself too. Thanks again, really appreciated.
