Hey Mary! Glad you enjoyed this one... the journals can be used for lots of things, like writing down thoughts and ideas like a traditional journal or something more like a glue book; a book that you can glue images and things into or a mixture of both. I also like to use them as a simple scrapbook. You can add photos and journalling etc I find this format a little more informal so there isn't the pressure of making a perfect page. I use them too as a way to just enjoy using paper and glue and simply make pretty pages. Someone suggested putting in a bunch of old family recipes and making it a recipe book, there are loads of options It really is up to you.

I did try! I think I'm also going to wrap presents with some of these papers this year... so many creatives have just said I need to keep going, there is so.much.here. lolol... I'm still calling this adventure a successful one 🎄
Hey Brenda, They can be used for anything you want. Some people journal in them, others use them just to make pretty pages in for fun (sometimes called a glue book) some people put notes and recipes in them. It really is up to you. I enjoy the ones that are a bit of a mix between a journal and a scrapbook.
This is awesome! I think I will make one of these for my granddaughter. She has wanted a junk journal for a while now and what’s better than homemade! I have lots of everyday papers too that I will never use for scrapbooking but would be perfect for something like this. I also have tons of those paper bags. I’ve been trying to figure out what to do with them. You have given me a great idea! Thanks Gwen! I have really enjoyed this series and am sorry it ended. I love all your ideas and will surely use many of them!

I love making journals and paper bag journals are extra fun. The 12 days series was really fun, Gwen. Maybe you should do it again haha - you wouldn't believe what happened to me....went to get out my Christmas stash and start, and most of it has disappeared. Maybe the cleaning lady is a crafter ! Not happy, Jan!
Thanks for your kind words Mandy, clearly it's going to take me longer than 12 days 🤣 to use this stash up! Just quietly I'd be a little bit happy if some of my stash disappeared... hopefully it is just 'missing' and you'll find it when you start looking for something else!
@CreatedByGwen oh I don't want it but I also don't want it disappearing. One thing about G45 is that the weight makes it great for layering, even if you do have to hide it! I loved it years ago obviously. And you're welcome to the words xx

Oh my goodness!!! What an awesome idea! I have loads of Woolies and Coles Paper Bags lying around! Lol. This would be a fantastic idea for gifts! Thank you so much for these ideas! They have been very helpful! Thanks for sharing!
Wow!! This is such a wonderful idea. A great way to recycle those brown shopping bags. It is interesting because years ago when I was working in a grocery store all we mainly had brown bags and boxes. Plastic bags were just starting to come on the scene. Now plastic bags are being phased out and we have brown paper bags once again. I have quite a few at home as I think it is a shame just to throw them away. This is such a clever idea and makes a perfect gift. Love, love, love how this beautiful journal turned out and no one would ever know it was made from a brown paper shopping bag. Thank you so very much for another wonderful and fun tutorial. It looks like you didn’t succeed in using up as much of your stash as you had hoped. Maybe you could keep some for Christmas in July.😀❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
