Hey Creative Friends! Welcome to Day 11 of my 12 Days of Christmas Stash Busting Challenge!! I do hope you join me along the way and use up your Christmas stash 🎄 You can share your Christmas projects here: facebook.com/groups/1391120537656015
I LOVE the tip about quickly sorting therough the embellishments with the elimination bowl. That is a true time saver and helps make decisions. Thanks for sharing so many fun tips and tricks. I thoroughly enjoyed this series.
I have said that it's a 'game changer' because so many people have said it helps them so much. So glad you enjoyed this series, I really enjoyed making it too!
I love, love, love this beautiful layout. I really love the idea of using the squares to create a Christmas Tree for the background. The stitching adds a lovely extra detail. You would never know this layout was made from using not so favourite Christmas supplies. I often overthink my layouts I am sure. My layouts never come together quickly. This last week I have kept myself busy making some more Christmas cards and a couple more baby layouts. Thank you so very much for another wonderful and fun video tutorial. You always come up with such wonderful ideas.🙂❤️❤️❤️❤️
Thank you so much Maree... I think the stitching really makes it and it was a bit of a spur of the moment kinda thing! I'm so glad too I was able to hide those challenging papers from view 🤣 You have been busy! Baby layouts are so fun... maybe I need to pull out some very old photos of Miss C... it's been a while since I've created one.
Love your layout, Gwen! So cute, and I do love all the details that you added to your tree. I have made the 'square' tree before, but I have never stitched on it - such a lovely detail. I hunted, and cannot find any ugly paper on your layout, it all turned out beautiful with your finishing touches. Thanks so much for always taking the time to share, hugs ~ Roni Sue
Hey Roni!! So nice to see you here ❤️ Glad you liked this one... the ugly paper is there, I've just used small amounts of so that it doesn't stand out 🤣 It think the stitching is a really nice touch to add, makes it feel even more handmade. Thanks for spending a little of your creative time with me today... I'm always inspired by your pages so it's nice to have you pop by xox
Love this layout! The Christmas tree is so cool! I have seen Christmas trees done in a couple of different ways but never made one myself. Maybe it’s time I do.
I have seen quite a few this year actually Julia... I think this one is one of the easier and faster ways to do it, so if you wanted to give one I go, I bet you could make this one! xo 🥰
I LOVE this layout. I am definitely going to try this. I always love your videos. Keep them coming. I'm learning so much and 15 minutes or less. Thank You.🥰
I'm sad this series is coming to an end!! It has been fantastic and i have been very inspired!! I will be coming back to these layouts after Christmas as i always have a week or so to "power scrap" when I am not busy with other projects! Thank you for doing this series!! Christmas is my favorite! I haven't reduced nearly as much of my stash as i wanted to but i have loved all my projects!
Awwww Rona... I'm so glad you have enjoyed this so much! Don't worry, I'm already thinking about what other fun series I can do on the channel for next year so it might be the end of this one but there is always plenty more ideas to share and projects we can work on together. The best is yet to come! ❤️
This is just adorable, Gwen! I make sure that every little detail is perfect before I’m satisfied that the layout is complete. The joy is in the details, right? Thank you for sharing another great video. I love this series. I’m not able to scrapbook right now, so I can’t join in, because we are renovating my scrapbook room, but I can’t wait to start. You’ve given me some great ideas. 😊
Yes!! The joy is in the details! How exciting to be renovating your space 🥰 I'm sure it will be worth the wait and frustration over not being able to create for a short time. I feel like you've still been part of this journey, you've been here every day of the challenge!! I'm super glad I've been able to inspire you 🎀
💜💜💜tfs💜💜💜 it's funny when I first started scrapping (over 25 years now) I refused to buy square or rectangle punches because I had a trimmer and I was like, it's just a straight cut - plus punches were a bit more money back then... that said, my squares are my next fav punch, just so quick and easy and as you said if you use them upside down, makes it so easy to crop your image! Now I have no issue buying "time-saving" supplies, even if I have to save for a bit to do something I could technically do without said tool - but my time is precious, shame it took me so long to work that out
I had the same thought when I first started... if I could do it with my trimmer then I don't need a punch, but I was wrong! They were more expensive back then and when you're starting out you want to buy pretty things, not functional things, you don't think about the time you can save with the right tool for the job. Thanks for hanging out with me today, I see you there catching up on all the videos. Merry Christmas lovely! ❤️💚❤️💚❤️💚

I adore my square and circle punches!
The are the best aren't they! 🥰

I really like this layout. Definitely a great layout to make with scraps. I should really try sewing on my layouts, it looks so nice!
Yep, this one is really good for scraps... it really stretches them out nicely. Glad you enjoyed it 🥰

Where do you get reposional atg tape. What’s it called? Love the layout.
I use this one: amzn.to/3tfBKl0 Maybe not technically 'repositionable' but I move it around all of the time before committing.
