- Well peeps we moved to New Zealand, surprise, surprise, we applied for a WHV back in 2020 but as everyone knows covid hit so this adventure had been postponed until now.
This is a new chapter in our lifes and we are looking forward for the future.

Rather than staying and living in Auckland, you might prefer Wellington or one of the smaller cities. You should do a trip around and see where you like best before settling. Most of the other towns/cities are much nicer than Auckland...Auckland may have the most jobs, being so much bigger, but everywhere is looking for workers right now. I can definitely see you enjoying Wellington. Good luck :)

@@Travelgramers I did the campervan tour down the south island back in Spring 2017. Drove around 3000 km or so for about 2 weeks and stops at every town possible. Love every bit of it. I really wanna go back there.

Yep we are travelling around but there’s many more videos to release. Being on the road we don’t have so much time to edit videos, work, etc… power is also an issue ahah so we are very behind on these videos

Note how they pronounce words with "e" and "i". It's switched around. Got us confused when we first visited.

Get out of Auckland!!
It's nice but it's just another big city with all the big city financial traps and problems
Agriculture and horticulture are screaming the workers lots of jobs
Don't get too bogged down in one place
Work for a couple of weeks and move on and explore
Remember the South island is completely different from the North

Heres some advice from me, a Maori local who was born and lives here in NZ, get out of Auckland and stay in a smaller countryside town like Raglan, or in the South Island. I'm leaving NZ and heading back overseas to Asia. NZ is boring asf even though it's my home country. Experience the journey.

We did not work and we did live on the van full time. We are currently on the road in Australia so we can’t upload/edit any videos at the moment perhaps by March we will be able to. Until then you can ask us any questions we would be happy to assist if we can 😃

Hello! I see blogs where they say the cost for a WHV is about 280 nzd.. But then when I look on the immigration website of NZ, I see 455 nzd. Did they increase the prices for a WHV that much? 🥲
We did ours before covid (got extended so we could enter now) so I don’t really remember anymore how much we paid then but it was around the 200 euros per person. I think immigration have increased their prices tho according to their website
