    The printing out your resumé and handing them to potential employers is seriously fantastic advice! I went to Australia on a WHV and the only way I found jobs was by walking the streets and handing my resumé to businesses in person!

      The problem with both NZ and Australia is they accept thousands of working visa applications every year so not even the locals can find jobs as there hundreds of people looking for work. Glad you took the initiative and went door knocking for work.

    • @MadilynSchroeder
      @MadilynSchroeder  Рік тому

      I don't plan on staying longer than a year, however if you come over on a WHV and work for a company (even bars/hospitality/etc) a lot of places will sponsor you to stay and you can even work towards residency. I know a lot of people doing that! I'd say just come over and see how you like it, and go from there :-) best of luck!
