@ProdigyWright they had cut back for a couple of sets, and this may be a one-off going forward. There is still another set Duskmourn releasing before this set.
Hey foundations is cool asf if you getting into it, but depending on the format you want to play it might not be worth buying unless you got a little extra cash
9:23 buying singles has always been cheaper than buying packs. People buy boxes to play limited. Also the booster boxes are around 20% cheaper from other resellers
Im not even a collector, as a new player just looking to get cards to assemble a deck that need a lot of rares, uncommon and mythics and getting them from playboosters does not seem to be the thing and the singles are really expensive or even available in my corner of the world 🤔
@electrospud9230 where are you located? I try to buy singles and look for deals for expensive cards. Or I see if I can work out a payment plan at my LGS.
$203???? F wizards and Hasbro, the sets they've been putting out have been garbage anyway. It's time for a revolution fellow players I'm calling for a strike against mtg
@cygnusx-1862 i agree that the players and collectors should band together, but the sad reality is WotC has pushed FOMO so hard everything has become a must have to stay competitive
Informative. Kind of new to MtG all the stuff they release with a new set is overwhelming

Are your prices in Canadian or US dollars ? Because my LGS is selling the play boosters for 185 CAD.
@@DanishTroll87 US based on Amazon prices at the time the video was made. What is the conversion rate of US dollars to Canadian?
@@patrickowens3840 1 USD = 1.39 CAD. So my LGS is practically selling the play booster box for 133 USD.
Background music was annoying
@clintondieckmann458 i can understand that. I am horrible when it comes to background music. Lol
As of Aug. 10th the play boosters have dropped to $180. Still overpriced. Standard set play boosters should be under $150 after sales tax & shipping.
@@shadetree1175 they should be $120 to $135 out the door

That’s Amazon’s price - they are much cheaper on other reseller sites.
@chrisshaw5709 i chose Amazon pricing since that is wotc store front, any store that can buy in bulk should be able to sell a little lower.
