This advice is like gold! I think ive always associated discipline with punishment, and now I can associate it with self love. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

It's common for relationships to encounter obstacles, but there is always a solution. My own marriage faced considerable issues, but with appropriate guidance, my husband and I worked through them and deepened our connection. Solutions are achievable if you're ready to work together. Stay hopeful-there's always a way forward.

I'm facing significant relationship problems and can't stand the idea of losing him. My love and longing for my partner are profound, and I'm ready to do anything to restore our connection. I would greatly appreciate any advice or help you could give.

Parting with someone you love is always a challenging process, but in my experience, I had the guidance of a spiritual guide who prevented my marriage from collapsing. His name is Father Akunna.

I'II quickly search for him online. Thank you.
I'm optimistic that taking this approach will yield results for me as well; his absence is keenly felt.

How about not creatong stress out of incessant striving for perfection? (And trying to convince everyone else that that is somehow the pinnacle of life). Perfectly imperfect sounds good to me

I think when the distaste of the outcome of NOT doing something is greater than the discomfort of taking new action, then the switch flips to begin a new way of being/new habits.

What you attract depends on what you're projecting. If you're saying everyday, "I want to lose weight," you're projecting *want*. What you're going to attract is, "I want to lose weight."
If your vibration is want, you attract want. If your vibration is lack, you'll attract situations to reinforce the feeling of lack. If you vibrate (project/feel) gratitude, abundance, and happiness, you'll attract more reasons to feel that way.
Another huge part of the equation is not white-knuckling the outcome. Let go of your expectations as to how something is "supposed to be."

    Discipline becomes Habit!
My future WHY needs to be bigger than my present pleasures!

My problem is getting up early and going to bed early. I used to be a nun and we got up every morning at 5:25 am and went to bed at 9:30 pm every night. I got disciplined and yes it hurt. I don’t think I ever got used to getting up that early. I don’t think I could do it now in my 40’s

People don't understand that discipline is ambition. Ambition to make money, succeed financially, requires discipline, but ambition is what pushes you. It always comes to priority. If someone has a steady job and they are content character, they really don't want to achieve anything more, it's their character, so then what is priority? Priority is working out then that becomes an ambition towards a goal. Then that becomes something they are working for. If it's a priority for self growth then that becomes an ambition to grow, nobody has to talk about discipline anymore when ambition is there.

....and now take all what Chase said and compare it to how your corporate employer treats you.... Can You see what they do to you? To your life?!
"It's not about goals, it's about habits!"
....and their corporate habits are crimially awful!

That’s not discipline. Discipline is doing something you DONT WANT TO DO. Discipline is doing something you don’t want to do that DOES NOT GIVE YOU ANY “DOPAMINE” which is itself a stupid thing people have started saying. Changing your perspective to long term “future you” is NOT DISCIPLINE. That’s simply common sense.

    • @TyphoonJohnny
      @TyphoonJohnny 2 години тому

Wait what's a stupid thing people started saying? Discipline?
I suppose but in which way is it stupid? I am sure it's not apt in most situations its been used.
