Kill Tony is a modern day sideshow attraction. It's only natural that Hans would outperform Ric in that setting. In a setting conducive to standup, Hans wouldn't be allowed in the building.

@@stino42 Thank you for understanding what is going on. I surrendered to the court after my attorney negotiated terms for my surrender. I never said I “stormed the capitol”. Tony repeatedly said that as a way of teasing me and being funny. I was allowed in, but the DOJ is arresting all the peaceful protestors who assembled at the Capitol. I was charged with 4 misdemeanors. My arrest had nothing to do with appearing on the show, but my sentencing likely will. Tyrants hate truth. @KillAlley has a trailer up on UA-cam for a documentary they are making.It’s worth watching. I love #KillTony and still put my name in the bucket every week.

My issue was how Hans treated Ric… it was gross and I lost a lot of respect for his lack of emotional restraint and really nasty insults that weren’t funny just vitriolic. Really was uncomfortable to watch, lol.
@@BRANDRUMZ It was a bit immature, but on Redban's channel, he was explaining how most of the Kill Tony crew felt offended that he even challenged Hans. So nobody liked Ric Diez and Redban personally said his jokes are mostly the same. While I agree Hans has been waning lately, Ric barely has been on the scene and it's a lot easier to be funny when you've only done a few sets while Hans has been doing it for years.

Hans hands down lost. We all know it. He knows it. We know he knew it with his facial reaction to the insane pop from the crowd during the vote for Ric. Matt and Shane are true dawgs by being honest with their vote for Ric.
Hans had a good run on the show. He's been a regular for over 2 years. Selling out tours. Massive theatre shows. Making a ton of money from tours, all thanks to Kill Tony. I think we can all agree that it's time for him to bow out and let someone else become a regular.

Hans is consistent, as in he may not be the funniest guy around, but he has enough experience where he will do decent enough for some folks to laugh. Unless the guy challenging him is really good and lives in Austin, Hans is never going to lose. If you were a business owner, would you rather have a guy that works very well one day but is lackluster rest of the month or a guy who does okay throughtout the month?

I was at the NYE show and the crowd of course was louder for Hans bur Ric Diez was surprisingly very close in the applause scale. Ric did have the vote of Matt and Shane which says it all. But of course logistically it would never work to have Ric Diez as a regular. I'm glad he got the exposure he did from KillTony which I think was the calculated move from the beginning. Also I love Hans but he was being kinda lame cutting off Ric , felt like he really was threatened lol
Hans has been legitimately angry at Ric for challenging him in the first place, kinda rightfully so since Hans would have lost his job as the regular (aka losing lots of money and some exposure) had Ric won. The reason the bucket pulls sucked is because the HEB center is way out in Cedar Park, which is not easy for the Austin homeless to get to.

Most of us who sign up very Monday were there. And the few homeless signups like Drew Santana liv in their car so transportation is not a problem, although Drew hasn’t been around since Tony kicked him off stage.

Hans said that Ric Diez was "two dimensional" failing to realize that this is the hardest type of comedy to write and perform. Ric can drag these on out if he wants to but he's too much of a great comic to do that. Simplicity is the ultimate form of sophistication. People who were there say that actually more people stood up for Diaz but in the stream they tricked with camera angles. Big if true
First night of Kill Tony was pretty rough. Bucket pulls were mostly trash and logistically had a few hiccups. Sunday was much better though, i think it helped having a warm up the night before. They did a great job production wise to really make it more grandeur, with the bucket pull girls and all the guest appearances. Tony wised up from the anniversary show and got actual funny panelists. Hans definitely dropped the ball on his set although the crowd would've never turned on him. I'm excited to see where he improves on in the next couple arenas shows though.

I follow a ton of UA-cam channels that cover comedy and I just recently stumbled across your channel. (LFG UA-cam ALGORITHM) This channel is unique and exceptional the way you put it all together. Some channels are lazy, play the clip and then react to it, with a dash of editing. Also, kudos with interview! It legit looks LIVE and is gave a point of view from behind the scenes! When she said majority of the comedians behind the scenes were in favor of Rick Diez, it make sense. Today, Hans posted an invitation to a rematch in Los Angles ( which I plan on buying tickets for come Monday), it seems he's also a bit unsure of himself that he won the match. Maybe, what comedians were saying backstage had something to do with that.
Hanz has clearly loss so many of these battles and gets saved by the audience every time!! You’ve even seen it with a couple drum offs!! Tonys not going to let those guys go lol

So basically what I’m hearing is if you didn’t watch live, you really didn’t miss much.
Both shows were brutal. Bucket pulls were horrible and even the regulars weren’t as good as they normally are… But that only goes to show how unbelievably tough it is to perform in an arena. I think the regulars should have got 5 minutes each. It’s impossible to be funny in 1 minute in an arena. Either way it was great to watch.
We all know Redban has been pushing the laugh track at every drum battle and competition...

I appreciate your recognizing me as a serious comic. That was me with the red beard center screen. Watching unfunny ppl get pulled and the same ones more than once. That has been my life weekly since moving to TX last July. Driving 6hr round trip each week to sign up for KT. No worries though, God has a plan and when I get pulled I'm ready with jokes and a life of insanity for the interview

I think Han's interviews are usually more interesting than his sets. That being said, it's not an easy job for a new 60 seconds every week, but if you have that opportunity, that would be the first thing u take care of every week
