We would. Victory in the Paraguayan war means continuous prussification of our army and militarisation, like Bulgaria, we could grow armies to beat even coallitions of bigger enemies, also enjoying large river and home advantage + international recognition of our legitimate claims. War would either be attrition/guerrilla war until brazil and argentina win with heavy economic consequences and losses, or a pre-emptive strike leads to peace negotiations creating Quo Ante Bellum boundaries.

Both, because Paraguay didn't lose 90% of the male population in this timeline and didn't get completely destroyed after the war, Paraguay probably is more stable today in this timeline. (Sorry for my bad english)

Paraguay never had the chance to win the war in the first place, it had a extremely small population anyways
They kinda did have a chance, argentina was on the verge of civil war and most of its provinces didnt lend aid which could have caused a civil war. Brazil though massive could have easily been routed at the riachuelo if the commander actually did what he was told. And the war couldve ended in paraguay's disputed borders atleast being recognized.
@@neroatlas9121 You still got the Triple Alliance literally gangbanging a regional power. Paraguay had a extremely strong military, that's for sure, but getting literally surrounded by enemies and they all are the strongest in the continent, and they just team up against you because you're a piece of shit, yeah, I still don't think it'd have a lot of chances to win except if they targeted only one country
