Thanks dad for giving them heat.
Always appreciate him!
I think the channel should be called “The life and times of Brian & Heather”
Yay heat! Dad to the rescue!
This is going to be a great van build. You are thinking things through and taking your time.
Definitely trying to think “in the future” with the build. Taking forever lol
You two are amazing and are two people who truly belong together ! Thanks for sharing these new adventures. Ride Safe and Van On!
only 87 years Great job!!!!! I like that you guys are shifting to stay going on UA-cam. I am doing the same with my content and big changes with me as well. This Van project is very interesting. Keep the content coming .
Definitely need to catch up with your content. Good luck in whatever you’re doing. This build has consumed me so I don’t get much free time to watch videos. Hopefully that will change soon.
@@LifeontheBlacktop Hey man we are all so busy. For what it's worth I really enjoy this Van build your doing. Hope you guys are doing well.
Getting that heater working is the highlight. Lol
You can only work in the cold for so long. Looking great guys, really enjoying watching the progress.
We are SO over winter. Glad you are enjoying it, we are ready to be done and start taking some trips!
@@LifeontheBlacktop I bet it looks like a long process. Hopefully the rewards will be worth it 😎👌
I laughed sooo hard when you danced the pole!! 🤣
Ain’t nobody want my flavor! Lol
13:00 I recognize that road. Ive literally skateboarded down the middle of that road at 1 am when I was younger. I use to work in that McDonald's.
Looks like you are making progress on the van
You are doing great building the van. Taking the time to do it right will pay off in the long run.
I sure hope so Howard! 👊🏻
Your still making progress and it’s entertaining.
Little by little!
Hi guys, please make sure you put an angle grad (gradual) for your shower pan. Love the content. You two work off of each other very well! Love it!
We plan to put a slight one there but we don’t have much room for much. I did put the drain towards the center of the van in hopes the crown of the road will take care of any excess. Stand by to see if my idea is dumb or not lol
👍 it's progressing well ✌
Slow progress is still progress. That's what we keep telling ourselves lol
Here's an idea, take your square and go visit a RV dealership and see how poorly everything is built. If you had the time I would suggest going to Cape Canaveral and take a good look at the last Saturn 5 rocket and how it was built, you won't believe they flew it. You are doing great don't sweat the small stuff. It's not going to matter when you've been driving all day and you are parked at night "Riding the storm out".
This build has been very informative and educational. The one thing I can say that I learned for sure is I will never, and I do mean never, do a van build!! God bless you brother man!!
There are easier ways to do it if you change your mind lol I over build everything, it’s one of my biggest faults lol
Good job! Looking good! Nice team work!
I got nervous when she said Brain Scott. I was saying run Blacktop run 🤣. Good stuff you two. God Bless
😁
I'm not sure that I would give up the living space for an occasional shower. There are camp grounds that have pretty nice showers, and if out in the wild, you could purchase one of those portable shower setups.
We went back and forth on it so many times whether we wanted it or not. Ultimately it was decided to keep it for the private pooping lol
Patience patience patience lol. Can’t wait to see it when it’s done
I can’t wait to be done working on it lol.
@@LifeontheBlacktop I’ll bet at least you know most of what your doing I wish I had that much know how
Crackin me up you two! Hope you have it all finished up before Sturgis. Hey love your buddy’s shop. Maybe you can buy that shop from him, or buy up half of it; that’s a great shop especially once you get that heat running.
It’s been a great place to build for sure. Awful dusty though, definitely needs some industrial vacuuming haha
Lilove the progress. Keep it up👍🏼
good to know WI isn't the only state that did such an awful job of plowing this winter. we had those snow pot holes from mid december until the end of january when it finally snowed enough to fill them all in. then warmed up and melted it all.
It's coming along nicely! Glad to see you guys having fun while building :)
It’s the only way we can keep our sanity 😁
Keep plugging away. Nice work so far.
New vid new vid! 🙆🏽♂️ awesome. Can we get another tomorrow?? 🤓
I wish haha! It’s a struggle doing one a month, this build has consumed us. 😁
Looking good buddy be safe out there your buddy from Oxford
It takes a solid loving relationship like you two have to conquer a big project like this. Kudos to both of you. Following this project is just as good as any bike content or even better.
You have no idea how much we appreciate this comment! We see our views a little low and get discouraged because it’s not “motorcycle” content so it doesn’t typically do as well. But we want to document it so we do it anyway. Nice to know people enjoy it 👊🏻
Van should be great when it's done. My idea of van life is load up the bikes and go.
Looking good. At least you will be clean once finished.
Keep going Brian, looking good. Cheers Dave
Might be a tad late, but, have ya tried using a bob to check squareness? Just a thought.
Oh, I usually consider driving on Nebraska roads ‘off road’. With all those state taxes and sky high vehicle registration costs they charge you sand lizards, one would think the state would have better roads and be able to clean them off in a timely manner. At least your not in Iowa, 😂jk.
All jokes aside, I love these videos and it makes me happy to y’all. I’m always wondering if I’ll see ya out and about while kicking in Kearney/GI.
I got it all sorted out I think. I’ll probably find out this month lol
Bit by bit! I’ts coming along, and it will be so worth it when it’s all done!! I have learned, I’m buying a finished RV!!
Slowly but surely! And yes, idk if I’d do another one lol
Hey you two are doing a great job on the van/camper build , but I have to say the comedy show is the best Lol at least you can have a little fun while doing something like this it is alot of work and I am sure it seems never ending but it is going to be awesome when done. And warmer weather is coming we are over the winter grind for sure. So stay safe out there
Thank you! We definitely try to have fun because it’s dragging out so long and we are starting to lose our minds 😂
Nice progress! Getting some heat in the building will help with the weather you all get.
It has helped a TON just being out of the wet weather
Looks like you two are doing a good job.
You two are rocking it. Hope to cross paths with once done to see it
Absolutely!
Use "3-4-5" rule to check square
I’ve forgotten about this! Thank you!
use the 345 rule to check the square.
Pole dancing was priceless... love these vids.👍🇺🇸⚓
I could improve a tad haha!
You guys are doing an awesome job, maybe a little over built but it's going to be good.
I tend to over build everything lol.
@Life on the Blacktop keep up the good work and it'll be a masterpiece 👌
See I brian is practicing his dance moves for adams party but the van is comming along slowly but good.Heather need to pick up the pace lol jk
I’ve been telling her to speed it up! Lol
@LifeontheBlacktop seems she only works when she's unsupervised maybe you should go drinking and have lunch one day so she can finish lol
Don’t stress out Brian 🙏🏻👍🏼😵💫😳
It’s been a struggle!
Wait! Is that a new black hat? I knew something was different… 🤔
Trying out some new ones haha!
06:49 😂😂😂
😎👍
My wife and I have been throwing around the idea of buying and converting a old short schoolbus with a ramp in back for loading 2 bikes. Well we decided against it, we're both 65 and to old for that shit. And don't want to ride the short bus.
08:32 Damn First and Middle Name.
IN TROUBLE 🫣
@@LifeontheBlacktop 😂😂
Why not use pop rivets on some of it?
Really good idea actually. I don’t have a rivet gun but might be worth picking one up.
Is it always that cold and snowy there? Or is it just an off year?
It’s really hit or miss. Some years, like this one, we get a ton of snow and cold. But then we have winters like last year where it barely snows and rarely dips into single digit temps.
Will it be finished by sturgis
It freaking better be. Lol. If not, it’s going anyway! 😁
Pole dancer he ain't. lol..but pretty good craftsman!
😂
Isn't it cheaper just to have someone make the modifications ?
Unfortunately not. Lots of time goes into these and most high end builds run around 80k plus the cost of the van.
haha I WISH it was cheaper, that would solve all my headaches from building out my Promaster atm
Hey now watch your language!
Y’all talking about Farrells and Farrell cats and stuff. You be talking about my people! Especially if you start taking about Farrell hogs. 😂
