Michael Schumacher and the V-10 era - the best of the best. Both are missed.
993mike best era was before Schumacher.
AGREED
@@marcelomuller1976 In terms of cars maybe, and the start of Schumi's carreer. But i always enjoyed it to see a master like Schumacher at work. One could have wondered what kind of battles we would have seen between him and Senna if Senna didn't pass away.
Wasn't born to experience the 90's f1 races etc. But I remember getting a ferrari lego f1 set when I was quite young. This was when I fell in love with the Ferrari f1 team, and my obsession with Michael Schumacher started. #KeepFightingMichael
Such an iconic time for Ferrari and F1
@@seenthroughglass Jim Clark was the greatest.
@Anish THAKUR I don't remember commenting to you.

The best thing: its free to enter! You dont have to pay to see all of it
Mattia Binotto that’s so cool hope I could make it there one day to check it out
@@dougconner95 definitely worth it...cologne aswell, especially if youre from the US
meanwhile, in america they charge you shit tons of money if you participate such event and they would charge you 10$ for a bottle of water that cost 99 cents. people in Germany are happy because of such reason never mind others if we go in depth.

We all love the diversity of your content Sam! Cheers!
You are a beast man! This was phenomenal! Thank you for the explanation of it all!
Just a shame some things were not accurate🙄
Love the enthusiasm...Michael Schumacher was my boyhood hero too and he was the biggest reason I got into F1 in 1993 :)
Same with me i still remember when he stated with Ferrari after he left Benneton and the Ferrari blew up on the warm up lap before the race and the first year was just a learning curve for him and Ferrari and after that year nobody could stop them , those were the days miss you Michael.
Videos like this are the reason I don't watch television anymore, keep up the awesome content you're killing it.
Agree, same
As an american I'm not a giant F1 fan .but i do appreciate the greatest of the driver and the car collection
I live in Wisconsin,USA and remember getting up at 4am on Sundays to watch Formula One races on tv. Michael Schumacher was my all time favorite. I cherish the diecast Benetton car i have. Spectacular exhibit and a fantastic video!!
Great video, thanks mate. I worked for Silverstone in the 90’s and met Michael. He was by himself after testing laps, he was very serious but pleasant & kind enough to spend some time chatting with me. An absolute legend.
I know what you mean. Michael was my hero growing up, and even now that his records are almost all beaten by Lewis and even after knowing some of his most controversial stuff, I can't bring myself to think of someone else as the best driver I've ever seen. I know there are and will be more pilots but nothing can beat seeing Schumi on his F2004 absolutely smashing everyone. That made me love F1!
Great video btw! I wish i can visit that collection someday.
You look like the older brother of Mick Schumacher
Agree.. You speak like Michael Schumacher in different accent
This collection is mind blowing. It is amazing the teams let him keep the cars.
Get well Mick. We all miss you.
Schuhmacher is a Legend. Everytime al the limit.
I've been a Ferrari fan since 1979. As a 9 year old at the time it was going to be 21 years before I would see the Scuderia win a championship. But, I stuck with them through all the years and even the very "dark" years in the early 90's. When Michael Schumacher moved to Ferrari, I was pleased to say the least, however, I didn't really like him much at the time for beating my beloved team so convincingly. Nevertheless, hopeful that his true talent was yet to be exhibited. Well it took 5 more years, but wasn't it worth it? All my dreams of Ferrari and F1 came true because of that remarkable team under Todt. For me it came at a very hard time in my life and was a welcomed and uplifting experience that steered me through some blind corners. I will never forget what therapy it was to watch the Ferrari's and Michael win race after race. I had waited (like many others) for so long for the team's success. In 2009 I eventually for-filled my ultimate dream and bought my own Ferrari and still have it today. Michael Schumacher was more than an F1 driver and sportsman to me, he was my inspiration. I never thought when I was young, that my "hero" was going to be only one year older than me. Thankyou Michael, you will always be a big part of my memories. The glory days...our glory days. #Keep fighting Michael !! Dio ti benedica (God Bless You) Marc
The introduction to F1 for me was A. Senna... After he was gone, it was all Schummi!..
Ble nezinojau, kad yra dar lietuviu kurie ziuri quality content. Schumacheris uzaugino ne viena is musu.
f1 was WAY better before
I can ear in your voice the joy of a child who gets the best present ever !
Thanks for sharing your passion and your pleasure.
Micheal Schumacher is my absolute hero he will always be the greatest driver of all time
Sorry for posting this again I’m just not talking abuse from some senna fan
Went there last month. Definitely recommend a visit. The Schumacher Collection is great. The rest of Motorworld is pretty special too.
Got to say, nothing compars to the V10 era, when hamilton was doing hot laps before raceday at Istanbul he said "these cars sound terrible compared to those V10's".. Beasts!
what a fantastic collection, many thanks to the Schumacher family for making sure we all get to see this collection and thanks to you for sharing with us. the subtle changes in wing angles etc are just sublime..
Schumi is the greatest of all time
Never compare him to British boy
What a collection I must visit! 99 car had 4 grooves front tyres 98 had 3 grooves on the front tyres...
Sam, your diversity & quality of content is second to none. Also, the work rate is nothing less than amazing. Keep it going, I’m enjoying Drive the World a lot!!!!
This comment means a lot, thank you!
@@seenthroughglass my pleasure :)
What a legend Schumacher is, pray that he is making progress in his recovery and one day can see him enjoy life again
Love seeing the 7UP Jordan car. Reminds me of my time as a member of the Andrea de Cesaris fan club. He had a great season for Jordan in that car. Great video Sam and brings back fond memories of the Schumacher era. Lets hope he gets better soon.

Wow Sam! I’m a massive Schumacher fan as well and I’ve always wanted to go there. So thank you for the tour!! Great content as always 👍
Michael Schumacher always number ONE! Hungaroring 1994, i was there and Michael has won that GP. Car's in 94, loud like hell!
Brilliant Sam, been waiting for you to take the trip to Cologne, for the Personal Collection :) Was there in September myself, such an awsome place!
The Red helmet he raced first in Monaco 2000, and the 2006 racesuit is not faded. He raced with that one at Monaco 2006, and is styled that way. Also a simular one was displayed in the middle, and is from the maddona di campiglo event with Ferrari from the same year.
Also the gold helmet he used at Spa 2011 :)
Also the renault/ benetton cars you did see in the hangar, is indeed Alonso"s 2005 Renault, and the benetton is the 1994 car of Michael, in which Mick drove at Spa 2017, for his exhibition lap :)
The Ferrari downstairs is the 1998 one, while the one on the top is the 1999 one ;)
Really enjoyed this one!
Ha thanks for the updated info!
@@seenthroughglass Pleasure! A real Schumi nerd here, haha ;)
Thanks for the video. I was a massive Schumi fan as a young kid too, very happy memories of watching him do battle with the likes of Hakkinen, Coulthard, Montoya, etc. I suppose we all have a soft spot for the teams/drivers we grew up watching, so that era will always be very special to me - the cars undoubtedly looked and sounded far better than they do today. I hope that some day that exhibition travels to other countries, Schumacher had loads of fans worldwide so it would be nice if more people got to see the exhibition. Until then, we have this video to enjoy!
life is not fair, he survive all F1 races and some ski race change his life for ever, this ain't right
Also Sam the sound of these cars were legit before they toned it down. I still prefer the high pitched sound of the F1 car.
I can feel your enthusiasm through how to talk about these things. Really interesting video 👌🏻
Schumacher has great contribution to Mercedes mordern F1 today’s success
anyone else emotional? knowing the history, the outcome of time, now his son. so many emotions.
Side pods were used to vent air to cool the radiators.:) and the whole time it sounds you’re holding back from screaming, lol I love it. I’d be acting the same way especially if it were an Ayrton Senna Collection.
6:22 For those of you who don't know, Michael changed his helmet design to full red in 2000 as he was required to by the FIA so that he could be distinguished from Rubens Barrichello, who had a very similar white and blue helmet design to Michael's.
Michael Schumacher legend
i love how emotinal u r michale was also my fav driver ever
I'm a big fan of Schumacher. I wonder what wonderful would have been if he and Senna could drive together for a couple more years. Keep fighting Michael!
The Red Baron,
The Regenmeister
The man who won in every type of car manual to automatic.
The God,the King of F1 Michael Schumacher!

Michael Schumacher!!! Simply incredible ...
I've only really discovered F1 a year ago, and since I haven't found anything as cool or as interesting. Man what a cool place. I wish I was able to see it live
The 7Up is just so iconic, so concise and elegant, there will never be another like it
Thank you so much for showing us this wonderful collection, Sam. As you, my favorite racedriver is also Shumi and I'm so sad that we are never going to get to see or hear him ever again. :-(
Pasquale y never see him ?
@@formula_tunezz33 I mean live. Offcourse you there is old footage, but the changes of seeing him live again are very slim.
Imagine having a mannequin (like one from a clothing store) with Schumacher's helmet and race suit on it and have his face molded on so it looks exactly like him and have all his f1 cars in 1:18 and 1:43 scale with photos and info on each car. That would be the ultimate collectors item if someone created that.
My favorite as well, love Schumacher.
Michael Schumacher is something else.Even Senna wasnt at his level of pure talant and dedication
Senna the best!
Very cool. I am a fellow F1 90s nerd. I remember how badly I wanted Schumacher to beat Damon hill in 94. I was a hysterical teenager when he was DQ at Belgium. Haha good memories
The best thing honestly is when you are in italy in like a little family restaurant and they have pictures of themselves with schumacher and signed things just hanging on the wall like a little shrine haha
Great passion, and your depth of knowledge on the subject is superb, thanks for making this video so emotional and enjoyable. For me, anyone who makes it into F1 without buying their way in, is a great talent, I still think that from my era, Senna was the most exciting driver to watch and the seventies and eighties races were awesome, before the really big money dominated the sport.
So exciting to see all of Michael Schumacher racing related everything. He was the main driver I kept up with. Thank you
SAM I remember when I was a kid in the USA still live in USA. Cheering on the Ledgen of Michael Michael Schumacher . He was king for the come back winnings and the king of f1 starts and points.
Watching the 1998-1999 Ferrari race is what brought me to the sport as a kid.
The F1-2000 which is the most beautiful one of them all is noticeable with the slight down ward curved side pods.
Love Michael, my hero forever... 😎👑
Thank you Sam! I really enjoyed it! You look like Michael.
You are so right about the white BBS wheels ! Same thoughts. I get your excitement !
@ 7:45 the reaction to overalls
Love the original Spa test car, would love to have been there
Damn, you brought back some memories, i started watching f1 because my dad bought me f1 97 on PlayStation, and since then i became obsessed with Schumi, and i agree with you, for me the best era was the Michael/Mika era that started in 98! Thanks for those excellent vids mate. Cheers
I’m a 49 year old lifetime Ferrari fan. He is a God to me. #keepfightingmichael ❤️
He is my favourite F1 driver of all time as well. I still hope to drive a F1 car yet. Thumbs up
I met Michael and his wife walking in old Montreal in 2002.
That same weekend I also met Johnny Herbert in hotel lobby Emerson Fitapaldi and Jackie Stewart having breakfast at the Queen Elizabeth hotel.
OMG "GASPS OVERALLLLLS!!!" THAT WAS SO FUNNY LOVE THE PURE JOY AND EXCITEMENT IN YOUR VOICE SOUNDS LIKE ME WHEN I TALK HISTORY
That 7 UP Benetton, is so smooth and slippery, almost shark like. @14:58 Check the injectors directly squirting down the throat of the intakes, on that Ferrari V10. Port injection X nope, direct injection X nope, fire hose nozzles check. What a candy store, that whole display is !!!!
Thanks Sam, loved the tour and your enthusiasm. Highlighting a legend of the sport #keepfightingmichael
Schumacher is the Don of F1
Thanks for sharing your Schumacher Experience. Your wealth of knowledge is inspiring. Cheers and thanks twice.
Thanks for the great video. Since I will probably never see them, it was definitely worth the time to view it. Thanks again.
Haha, it seems like you are in your own little paradise, like a little kid haha. As a German kid growing up with Schumacher and the F1 throughout the late 90s and early 2000's I can relate 100 %. The early 2000's Ferrari's are my favorite.
The only F1 race I've seen live was Suzuka 2000. So great!
Schumacher and Rossi are the best. No matter how many people hate them. They will be legends. First face that comes up when we speak of F1 or MotoGP
I'm with you Schumacher all the way!
Those F1 days are not coming back, I remember that in 2001-2002 I was getting bad grades at school so I couldn't just wake up on sunday morning to watch the races on tv and I had to wait until monday at 3 p.m. to watch the re run. Those were the days, and yes I was all about Schumacher/Ferrari.
Alonso's car creeping around the Schumacher era was hilarious. Really nice collection of caps, helmets and suits too. Wow.
I'm absolutely drooling over all the display of F1
More F1 things please. I could watch this shit all day long.
Amazing, big ups from Brazil champ 🇧🇷🇧🇷👑💫
I’m so looking forward to have a Schumi revival with his son Mick stepping in his shoes now, continuing his legacy!
He will be in F1, but not dominant.
I’ll probably never get to visit here in person. thanks for this video and an awesome narration during the tour.
Love seeing the F1 content increase on your channel! Keep up the good work
Hoping to do lots more through the year
@@seenthroughglass Can't wait!
Got to see some of Schumachers F1 cars at the Ferrari museum in Italy and saw some of the V10 engines too. Won't be something I'll forget in a very long time. I took more photos than I care to remember and had the best time.
98 was the first year to use grooved tyres, having 3 grooves on the front ones, different from the 4 grooves on front in the following years.
i'm not a fan of Schumacher but i wanted to go on this place... amazing
Is it me or is Michael Shumacher one of the worlds greatest f1 history and backstory. Plus the AMAZING collection am I write. :) :)
it is not a faded race suit hahaha, i believe the red-yellow race suit was one he wore at monaco but I do not remember the year. loved this episode as Michael is such a hero in F1. keep up the good work!
Shame Marlboro branding was removed from the 2004, really gave it an iconic look
I also was (& still am) a HUGE Schumacher fan and hardcore Tifosi. He always got bad PR in the UK because of the Damon Hill fracas but in reality he is the greatest all round driver and deep down everyone knows it.
Great video, it was a different era from today. Started watching f1 when I was 7 years old a bit later when schumi switched to Ferrari. He provided us with so many emotions.
Anyone visited this place and would like to share some tips please? I'm planning to plan a visit next year hopefully. Thanks
Schumi was F1 for me back in the day. He was the pilots name that cam out of my mouth back when I were a wee lad. Not so much anymore but still a legend in my eyes. 😁👍
Come back to us Schumi!
This guy is F1. He made my childhood
I cannot believe I missed this video for so long!
Goosebumps, looking at that F2000! What a Legacy!
Content like this from a car vlogger is so refreshing and EPIC! Wish I could go visit this place 😭
Great to hear you enjoyed it
That B195 is so epically beautiful....I could look at it all day
You must be my favorite nerd Sam. Great to see the place I’ve visited last year.
Ha appreciate it
I love how you’re speaking in hushed, reverent tones, Sam, while in the background kids are screaming like wild banshees. 😄
I hate the clicky wet noises from his mouth though
Loved this. Totally geeking out over it too, and i'm not even there. I grew up watching f1 at the same time as you. First full season i watched was 1997, i was 9 years old. I was a schumacher fan back then, and i still am now. Absolute legend of the sport. What he achieved was astonishing.
I went to a museum in Queenstown New Zealand and somehow the dude who owns the palce managed to to snatch himself a Schumi Benetton. Not sure what year it was but it was definitely the real thing and it was still being raced too.
'95 Benetton is awesome. sick paintjob :)
Easy way to tell if it's a 98 or 99 car is look at the front tyres, in 98 the fronts had three groves and in 99 that was increased to four. Loved the Vid!
I absolutely love the passion in your voice talking about all this! Awesome video.
That was kick ass ... thanks from Australia ....
When I visited I last year I also had very high excitement levels! One thing that was strange was how quiet it was when we went.
Amazing talent doing all that in one take !!
That Benetton with the white wheels brings back memories...
