It's "American" pizza. You'll see corn and peas on a lot of pizza places outside of the country because potato, corn and peas are associated with the US. I've seen it in Italy, London, Japan and Thailand.
Made the Sushi version of this with my gf. It looked AMAZING but everything tasted like desk-bottom gum
