Also, unrelated but I totally love that crazy kit Kat commercial. The guy was having a bad day, and he got to his breaking point. He had a choice, have a psychotic break, or a chocolatey one. It's like art, or something.

Here's some help with the KitKats you didn't quite understand, in order below, from a Japanese speaker:
- Sakuramasamune brand sake (a very old, well known brand )
- Rum Raisin (not tea, sorry PBG)
- Red Bean (Azuki) Sandwich
- Red Bean & Strawberry (Hokkaido regional exclusive)
- Maple Leaf (Momiji) Manju (it's a pastry filled with red bean as you said)
- Yuzu Sake (Yuzu is an Asian citrus fruit that's kind of between an orange and a lemon in terms of taste)
- The "PINK" is probably Strawberry from the "Adult Sweetness" line. It's a bit more tart because like the "Strong Matcha" you tried first, most of this box is that same line that is supposed to be more complex or upscale flavor profiles aimed at adult consumers.
- Strawberry Cheesecake
- The final brown packaged one is Houjicha, a type of roasted green tea.

I think the pink one is Raspberry! I had it and it does taste like “tart strawberry” if you didn’t know it was raspberry before eating it.
But what was the first one? That was the only one I didn't understand despite being able to read, heba sube? lol

"The sweetness of adults" is actually kind of accurate! They actually translate to sweetness for adults, like not too sweet to where it is just for kids. Those with that label tend to have a more bitter flavor!
I figured it was something like that! Strong matcha also sounds like way more of an "adult" flavour.
Some of those flavors actually sound really good, especially because I don't like overly sweet stuff.

"The Sweetness of adults" might refer to what the japanese call "adult flavors" being it a flavor mostly catered to an adult audience
Yup, I heard it translated as "sweetness for adults" in my own Kit Kat tasting thingy and it's just more "mature" (aka less sweet) flavors.

I got them at my local Asian market a few years ago, I remember really liking them!
A friend brought them back from Japan for me knowing that I liked cranberries, but not that I was allergic to nuts. :( Another family member of mine tried them and said the flavor was very nice, though.

What pbg is describing here is a good example of the milder cases of chunnibyou. Most people go through it some point during their lives, usually during during the ages of 10-16, and it usually only lasts a few years. Worrying cases are when they are adults and don't seem to be aware of it.
(For examples of more extreme cases, see Steins;Gate or "Love Chuunibyou, and other Delusions".)

I noticed the matcha Kitkat in the supermarket a little while back, so I bought one. Tasted pretty much just like white chocolate. I was very unimpressed. I don't know if it's the same as the Japanese version, maybe they added less matcha to suit Western tastes.
I also used to have a humongous box of Japanese mini kitkats filled with strawberry filling. But no one liked them so I just ate them all. I liked them quite a bit.

I think they sell lots of different Kitkats in grocery stores or department stores, but last time I went, really the only Kitkats you can get at a convenience store are matcha and strawberry lol. Sometimes they'll have a limited time flavour that pops up.

Nonstandard Kit Kat flavors I’ve tried in the US:
-birthday cake (B tier)
-apple pie (c tier)
-lemon Creme (a Tier)
- mocha (c tier)
- mint dark chocolate (a tier)
- cinnamon (d tier)
You can also find plain dark chocolate and white chocolate. They don’t really taste that great tho
The cheesecake flavor one is cool because you can actually put it in your toaster oven and bake it and make it all fluffy and warm! I got a whole pack when I was in Fukuoka XD
It's not blood when you cook a steak blue or rare- it's myoglobin! So long as the outside of the steak is well seared to kill off surface bacteria, it's safe to eat.

This was less about kit-kat flavours and more about watching a man suffer eating candy. This whole channel is basically Peebs suffering, the show.
Pointing out at people who lie about liking mature flavors. Yeah, I get that.
I already get weird looks from people when I say that I eat Sushi. I had two co-workers claim they do, too, because it's a very mature delicacy in their eyes.
So to somewhat prove them wrong, I brought some Sushi to work the next day and invited them to eat it, too.
Some of my other co-workers, who never have eaten it actually tried and some liked it, while others didn't. Which was okay. But those two braggers were avoiding it all day long.
It was hilarious to see them come up with odd excuses for not having to eat it. And I did this for like 2 weeks. They tried getting me fired for "harassment", but my boss and my friend, Jeff, were witnesses to their lie, so he just laughed their claim off. Being like:
"You want me to fire my Team-Manager for being so nice and offering you some home-made Sushi? Next you tell me he's threatening you with tissue papers whenever you sneeze."
It was hilarious. I told the two that they don't need to act like idiots to impress someone or fake who they really are. I don't expect that from anyone in my team.
They now are working for over 2 years in our employ already. And they are way more chill with just being who they are :3

Wanted to watch that full chair commercial, and I was so disappointed to find out it wasn't a real ad.
The "sweetness of adults" is almost an accurate translation. it'd be better to translate it as "an adult sweetness" with adult used as an adjective meaning mature, so you're right about them being "mature" flavors.
the "Lipton tea with raisins" was "Rum Raisin" flavor
the "chocolate sandwich" was "Adzuki (red bean) Sandwich"
the "strawberry soap" was "Hokkaido Adzuki & Strawberry"
I didn't get a good look at the wrapper of the last one but going of the color of the wrapper and the chocolate it looks like the roasted green tea flavor I've had before.
My favorite Japanese kitkat flavor is definitely the Strawberry Tiramisu flavor, highly recommended if anyone finds it but it might have been limited edition, think it was part of a new flavor concept competition

At the end of the commercial where the guy breaks the chair, you can see someone else do the same thing.
Sake is not just a Japanese Alcohol, it is Rice Wine
The Koreans have a Rice wine as well, called Soju
AND it does NOT have to be served hot, some are better served cold.
But it is more common for Sake in Sushi Bars to be served hot as the food would be cold.

Japanese Kit Kats are so good. When I was in Japan, I couldn't stop eating the sakura-green tea ones, and the wasabi ones. So delightful.
I want to try the cranberry one though... I LOVE cranberries and everything cranberry flavored.
Also, to answer your question. I don't know about gas stations, or specifically chocolate sandwich Kit Kats, but yeah, you can find a lot of cool flavors pretty easily. Overall, in Japan and China, you find WAY MORE flavors to everything than in any european country I've been in, and my guess is that the US is more similar to Europe in that aspect - well, at least the countries I've been in. I can only guess though since I've never been in the US.

The green tea kitkats sold here taste just like white chocolate. But maybe they eased down on the matcha to suit western tastes.
We have like 5 flavors in the us far as I know regular, fruit cereal, key lime pie, apple pie, and birthday cake

Just a note about the "sweetness for adults" from what I understand, means it's more bitter bc kids don't usually like bitter things lol. Sometimes they also call it Men's chocolate and stuff like that to denote more bitterness and less sweetness lmaoo
Also, the raisin one is indeed Rum Raisin, a somewhat popular flavor for ice cream, sweets, etc.
The sandwich is azuki beans, a sweet bean filling used in other desserts like mochi, taiyaki, imagawayaki, and a ton of other traditional Japanese desserts!
It's always so funny to me to see UA-camrs eat sweets and be like suffering, meanwhile I can eat like 25 of those double pack kit-kats in one sitting.

Can you get wacky flavours at a konbini or gas station in Japan? Yes... Yes you can :P. You can only buy the cheesecake one and one of the sake ones from Mt. Fuji usually, I guess they put them in the variety packs also neat :)

The last KitKat is flavored Hojicha tea. Its a green tea that has more of a cocoa, much like coffee.
