@@SylvainHunter there are a couple of obscure/underrated games such as amplitude/frequency, dj max, osu, lanota, neon fm, lost in harmony and more. Maybe you can try to cover other unorthodox music games such as gitarooman, a song of fire and ice, and rhythm doctor.

This is probably the 5th times I watched the video and I unironically cried at the end, I am not used to see high quality content videos to promote rhythm games, it got me emotional.
A note you should have said was that in contrast with the American PS2 Beatmania release, the Japanese PS2 releases were very well made and were popular with people overseas and went on until IIDX 16 Empress.
Awesome video. I've been mostly a DDR/ITG player since around 2001, also got into Guitar Hero while it was popular. But recently I discovered Sound Voltex and instantly loved it. I've only played a handful of times, but that was enough for me to invest in the new FAUCETWO controller from Gamo2. I'm super excited to be able to play at home when it arrives.

I made an unboxing video on my channel if you want to see how the product arrived. I also recommend the review on a channel called tokaku. In short, it's probably the best controller on the market price-to-performance wise right now.
When drum session came out yooo the songlist was soooooooo big and the amount amazing hard song is what I love, and I literally have the arcade drum in my own room so literally have the arcade experience in my room
very nice video. i feel like it might've been worth mentioning that many of these games are indeed playable outside of round1 or outside us/japan, as some arcades have bought them illegitimately. not as good as playing the online versions obviously but it can be nice for people who want to try the games out.

I believe that 2020 was a huge rise for rhythm games, and FNF developer took a chance and makes it but ironically I think that FNF ruined rhythm games in general. I mean, who the hell would like those weird voices of each character anyway

We definitely need more content like this to make the genre more popular.
The Round 1 near me actually has fans set up near the DDR machines for people playing it. I thought people had brought them but I see them every time I goo so it's good to see arcades taking this into consideration.

I tried ddr today, im a bit too weak to press the buttons so i gotta slam the buttons with my feet so i ended up having my feet hurt. It was fun though
geometry dash is an interesting "music" game you pretty much dodge spikes and other obstacles with various gamemodes and modifiers that are switched between over the course of a level the reason i put music in quotations is because depending on the quality of the level it can either be exactly on beat with the music or not at all as far as i know conflict isn't an official or custom level, but there's nothing stopping you from making it
Nice video but you only missed Neon FM, EZ2DJ/EZ2AC and old O2Jam. But overall I loved all but also sad too since not many arcade places (in my territory) has latest rhythm game, or sometimes unstable network to getting online cab (bemani ones). This video deserves more views. (y)

Only private server O2Jam PC that still exsist, they were... abnormal player... as EZ2AC yes it's very rare but the series & crossover song were still running. Ah yes, you also missed Dance Evolution but I just realized that game is discontinued.
Since I only play Cytus 2, I was introduced to Oshama Scramble from maimai and fell in love with it immediately. So i can definitely see that t+pazolite's song would be the mascot of maimai.

there are things known as shadow networks for playing mainly e-amuse games without connecting to official konami servers, as for obtaining the cards, it seems a lot of places have a source they use to mass import cards in bulk, but i have no idea where they get them from
I feel like you shouldve talked more about 4k-8k rhythm games on keyboards, such as quaver & notitg. this is just my personal opinion, but it would be nice to see key based rhythm games touched on a bit more as they are one of the most popular 'versions' of those games.
I tried to get into Beatmania on the PS2 version but it just did not work. My PS2 was fine, but game was just broken. Was brand new too. Was fun when I tried it in the arcade though.

Guitar hero does have a timing system. It is more subtle compared to other games if you hit the note, perfectly flames shoot out of the fretboard

I tried to get into Beatmania on the PS2 version but it just did not work. My PS2 was fine, but game was just broken. Was brand new too. Was fun when I tried it in the arcade though.
