Haha awesome man! This soundtrack is definitely one of my favorites of all time composed by Soichi Terada. The OST has a LOT of genres from different time periods, regions etc. This is one of the curveballs of the soundtrack from a trippy area. There’s definitely more traditional songs, but i’ve always particularly loved this one. Cheers ✌️
I uploaded an acapella if you wanna give it a listen. Very offkey as I'm not a trained singer, but if I'm passionate about the song, I MUST make an acapella of it.
Ape Escape is one of those hidden gem OSTs that never stops giving. Pretty sure a DJ could play a lot of it and basically no one would have any idea it was VGM lol. I still chill to the Time Station song all the time. Probably the first time younger me was really exposed to dnb and jungle goodness. Great vid!
This was VERY interesting! I don't play music, but this soundtrack is one of my favorites in gaming, so I stumbled onto your video while listening to the soundtrack on playlists here and found your reaction/breakdown really cool.
Glad to find your channel! I'd love to see more videos on Ape Escape, or the PS2 era of Castlevania games. Or, if you think you're hard enough, music from the first Drakengard.
Lolll yeah, the soundtrack is definitely unique! I didn't think I'd see somebody try to play along with it using an instrument, but here we are and you did pretty well! You're a great guitar player, every note sounds sexy 😄

Go coyotes, ape escape subliminally got me into DnB. Took me awhile to realize it lmao. Edit: Cool video.
Lol love that you noticed my hockey shirt 🐺 🏒
Sushi temple will always be my favorite sound from this game ❤

Haha that’s awesome thanks! ☺️
The percussion rhythm in this song has always tripped me up in this song. Like you said it’s very hard to find the groove
This was neat. I enjoyed the analysis of such a off kilter song.
VGM was very experimental back in the 90s. The composer probably had no idea whet they
were doing and went by fun and feel.
