This was a really fun one with Bearded Hardware! We have another Extras video coming up - features EVGA's BIOS team to give them the spotlight before they depart for new ventures. Check back for that. That'll be on Extras also. For the main channel, I'm currently taking a short breather on publishing while I work on putting together the big lab tour.
this video displays the strange concept of the quantum entangled host, is it Steve whos hosting? is it Bearded Hardware? is it both at the same time? Does observing them both in the same room collapse the sign wave and kill the universe? These are questions science has yet to explain
That Aluminium PC with all the radiators was disappointing. All that cooling power and was only cooling the CPU. Not GPU, not ram, not storage, just the CPU.
I was thinking about probably adding an additional heated air layer on the outside, so it defogs like a heated mirror for a bathroom. _All that would entail is a line of resistors at the bottom rim between another layer of acrylic._
@@X13565 Der8auer talked about it briefly on his channel, it looks really awesome, really hoping to see more of that tech for consumer cases in the future ua-cam.com/video/usFm9sFhjTg/v-deo.html
The Joe & Steve goofball levels are off the charts! No wonder this is an Extras video. Jokes aside, still a VERY cool video. I REALLY liked that koi pond open res build. Gives me some ideas for breathing some new life into my aging Tower 900 that everyone mistakes for a fish tank already. Do a mod like that & just say, "Yeah sure, it's a fish tank. A fish tank that does video and streaming content as well."
This is one of the funniest videos out of Computex, you two should collab on a weekly comedy review show or something. The mic running gag is a great touch too!
Loving the mic fights! 🤣 Those cases are absolutely amazing... Honestly, this is probably the coolest thing I've seen from all the Computex coverage. It makes me wish I could be there! I especially love that koi pond case. I want that so badly. :-P
Thanks Elmorelabs for your totally ingenious and supposedly booting and working stable "overclock" with "no condensation", with no details of the overclock. Thanks. As someone who fantasizes about the cpu supported memory speed someday being 10,000mhz (5000 effective).........eff this.
I really wish cases would come with a video side panel option. That is just too cool, and there has been several times where having something like that would help troubleshoot the computer.
@@AaronShenghao Yeah, it is pretty old news at this point. But it's strange how little coverage it got since coming to market. Or did it even come to market? Where the heck did the transparent screen case go?
Joe is honestly one of the nicest dudes I have ever had the pleasure to talk to. I have always wanted to meet him! Its always a treat to see Jesse cruising around :) Mike P creeping in the background, His scratch builds are always so damn cool.
Hey Stevie, you see that Koi pond PC. That's an actual demonstration of an open loop cooler. I know you like using the term to refer to custom closed loop cooling, but an open loop cooler actually has water exposed to the open air because it helps with evaporative cooling. Just wanted to throw that in there since you haven't seen my comments about it on the main channel lol. Open loop cooling is something we used to see more back in the day when people did DIY cooling more often (fully custom loops, auto radiators typically with custom fittings added and whatever tubing you could get at the time, hose clamp fittings to hold things together, etc). I built my first loop during this era and actually went for an open loop to see if I could keep it from gunking up over time (I could not, but it let me add ice for short benchmarks!) 1/10 do not recommend unless you're using it as part of a humidity control scheme for your home, gotta constantly add chlorine or iodine to the loop and your house will smell like a pool house if you do xD
@@ssl3546 I trust that if Steve notices, he'll look into it at least, maybe even do a video on open loop cooling for the lulz (though that's more of a video i'd expect linus to do). Just hoping he actually takes notice if I mention it here is all. It WAS previously properly appropriated, but at some point along the way that changed, and IDK what it was that changed it, because 12 years ago when I worked in the industry literally everyone knew this lol
I completely forgot how much I missed the two of you together on camera. The last OC live stream feels like it was forever ago, not that I'm complaining... Currently loving the current content direction. I'll keep my fingers crossed for something again soon though.
I've always wondered why there haven't been LN2 setups that automatically control the flow of LN2 like this. It seems like these overclockers go to some really extreme lengths in their process then they all just pour the LN2 by hand. Seems very imprecise given the rest of the process.
Cool video and Steve apparently had way too much fun at Computex, which is a good thing. I love the big 4 radiator setup cooling the CPU only, has to be a 13900k.

I think Steve and joe had been hanging around the beer dispensing PC before the shoot started.
I'm thoroughly enjoying the videos with other reviewers; already looking forward to next year's computex!
6:30 The external radiator mounts are actually an awesome design and a I wish more cases supported that.
Fingers crossed for more collaboration with Bearded Hardware. The antics are $$

all of those mods were truly stunning. can't wait for Joe and Steve to get together soon to do some Ln2 OC stuff.

The microphone shenanigans and purposely trying to catch the other when they clearly had nothing to say made this whole thing hilarious.
Tech vids genuinely turn my day around. Er, no pressure or anything guys, just know it's always appreciated!
This is prime _GN Extras_ content 😂❤
I cannot believe that you skipped over the Fachugger+facehugger egg display...
I love it when Steve and Joe get together.... I also laughed really hard at the end when Elmore said thanks Steve
how come you guys skipped over the one between the slot machine and ggf computer? looked awesome
it’s just a screen without backlight/reflector layer. Not really new….

the next step for Elmor Labs should be the paint used for rear windshields, then no more wiping because you would have defroster lines on it.

no condensation for the LN2 pyramid build, yes.. but what's gonna happen when you the whole system is shut off?
