For me, this is the best character to showcase how serious Koei is making their games. Fa Zheng was not presented much in the RoTK novel but he has his position in real history. On a side character in the novel, Koei still researched and depicted his personality accurately. Of course the DW series feel wild sometimes(Lu Bu stomping an entire city? Oops), but when you see Fa Zheng's vicious smile, you know this game has great characteristics.
I always like Fa Zheng, he is literally my favorite character of Shu (in game of course). Because is the only one who not looks like "Benevolence is everything".
@@Wilsontripplets i mean. Everytime they try more like the romantic. So people like Fei Yi or the Quans don't have the respect they deserve or the battles in Han Sui and Ma teng sector
@@historian252After Liu Bei died and Zhuge was on non stop battles, the palace was run by staffs. Like it was happened to Hejin. I dont think Wei or Wu was more corrupted than in Shu. Considering, Wei/Wu officers in later state of TK still included new talents without any family affiliations. Meanwhile, most officers in Key positions of Shu was the sons.
@ABCNDi Considering what Cao Shuang and Hei Yan along with Dima Yi's actions, I would say yes they were more corrupt. Not to mention all of what went down during Sun Quan and his successors' reigns.
@@Seisoks About your last sentence, It is the opposite. Nepotism was far more accentuated in Wei and Wu. For Wei, you have the Cao, Xiahou and Sima. In Wu, you have the Sun, Zhu and Zhuge. In Shu, there wasn't one big family with massive power, just because Koei got a weird boner on Guan Yu and Zhang Fei and their insignifiant children doesn't make it true.
Liu Bei is protagonist as it can get. Have both brawn and brain enough historically to kill Che Zhou, trick Xiahous, fend off Cao Cao through Xuzhou. Worst thing he did is uhhhh....betraying Liu Zhang to get lands but eh, Liu Zhang's people celebrate Liu Bei. Pragmatic but still kind enough to bring Jingzhou people along. Never did shit like massacre civilians or family purge. So is Zhuge Liang, he is so loyal, he had opportunity to be the Shu Emperor, he just didn't, people love his management so much they hype him up even before the novel. While Cao Cao killed the Emperor's pregnant wife and massacre innocent in Xuzhou because he could so much the river stop flowing, it wasn't even pragmatic. To make Liu Bei a villain, you need mental gymnastic. To make Cao Cao a villain you just say what he did. Fa Zheng is literally the other side of the coin with Zhuge Liang. Different moral but competent and get shit done. Liu Bei respect the dude tho.

Kinda shocked that his vindictive personality in the game was accurate
It sounds like Shu Han was a corrupt incompetent mess. Yet is portrayed otherwise in the Novel.
Far from being corrupt. Cao Wei & Sun Wu were far worse.

Friend or foe I always repay my debts🔥🔥
Shame that he died before Yiling. Even Zhuge Liang knew that Liu Bei can be victorious against Wu had Fa Zheng was there
