this might be weird, I'm even ashamed to admit but... because of autism and anxiety/depression, the only time I've ever felt safe and truly cared for was when I was under calming medications at the hospital. Ever since I came back from there, which was 4 years ago, I was never able to find that feeling again. When I'm feeling very low, I almost want to hurt myself on purpose, hurt myself bad enough that it would lend me in the hospital. One night, a couple of months ago, I was feeling very, very low. I thought about hurting myself again, and that time I was really gonna do it. But then I don't know how it came to me but I remembered pov asmr and I thought 'maybe there is hospital asmr somewhere'. So I searched it. and I found one of your videos. I put my phone down beside me and listened for a couple of minutes. And there it was. That feeling. I felt cared for, I felt that I was important enough that someone was making an effort to keep me alive, I felt like I didn't have to bear that weight alone... This might be very cheezy, I don't know, but I just wanted to tell you thank you from the bottom of my heart. I might have made a really bad mistake had I not found your videos. 💕
Oh gosh. ❤️❤️❤️ I’m so glad you found me and that’s how this story ended. Don’t feel ashamed about that. I think that so many of us are so…. I guess isolated is the right word. It’s hard to feel safe or feel seen or even feel safe enough to let ourselves be seen and there is something about being in a hospital and under intensive care and having people looking after you. Even when you’re alone in a patient room, the feeling of knowing you will be checked on and that people are there nearby who want to keep you safe. I think that wanting to recreate that experience makes a lot of sense, partly why I made a hospital asmr channel. So please, don’t feel negatively about admitting that. A lot of us here understand completely. I hope today is a better day. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

I typically avoid pov medical videos where the roleplay implies that something bad has happened to the viewer. Maybe it is because of my sleep paralysis as a kid, but those vids make me feel very anxious. But this video doesn't make me feel unsafe and vulnerable. It's such a calming and relaxing video to watch.
I sooooo appreciate your videos! I recently had to have a surprise quadruple bypass (at 39!!) and was in the hospital for about two weeks. I found the comforting presence and attentiveness of kind nurses and techs to be incredibly helpful in soothing my anxiety. Now that I’m back home and recovering, I use your videos to help recreate that comfort I miss, and it has been really effective! Thank you for your attention to detail and your dedication to your craft!
