Candice really lights up the entire table. Everyone always seems to have even more fun when she is there. I look forward to when we can all gather together in one room, and I hope she joins you all once again.
Fun playthrough to watch, but the "interrupt" mechanism when down to four cubes is probably going to cause a lot of gameplay issues. It would be much cleaner to only check for four cubes between player turns or to introduce some kind of payment method for actions where a player gets four action tokens / turn to "purchase" actions (so remembering how many actions remain is automatic) and perhaps even allowing a small number of tokens to be accrued between successive rounds adding a minor strategic element to the game.

I bought (and been addicted since then) Terraforming Mars because of you guys. I thought the game would be too geeky for me but it’s definitely one of the best games ive played. You guys rock and i love you all!!! 🥰
It makes no difference to the gameplay but to ease confusion about who is what colour, you're meant to look at the sand at the bottom of each player's board. No one in this game has the right board, so if you're used to using that as a quick reminder, it won't work for watching this playthrough.

Interesting game. I was looking at it on a site earlier today and wasn't so sure about it tbh. After this play through though I'm convinced on getting it....Curse you Dave for being such a good teacher lol.
I really wanted to like this one as an easy game for non-gaming friends but between the noticing when there's only 4 goods left, reseeding the board, and remembering how many actions the current player has when reseeding I think it's just a little too fiddly. None the less a wonderful playthrough and looks like you had fun! 😊
Instead of doing the cube check all the time one could use the demand markers to more easily see how many pick ups that have been made. Place one marker next to the board whenever someone makes a pick up. When one reaches four markers, place them on the appropriate fields...
Good playthrough of Caravan. It's an interesting game the random factor is the only wrinkle I see but at the same time it's also needed to keep the gameplay fresh. All that being said I'd still like to check this game out in person one day.

I even thought the overhead view's different from usual because, from the colors, it looked like Dave and Nikki are at the top part of the screen. In their defense, it's not readily obvious. I had to look closely at their boards just to check if something's different between each one. I hope the manual stated that.
Although I'm past the point of faulting designers for their choices, this looks like a nightmare for is color blind folks. I hope not once I see it person because it looks like a lot of fun.
The light on Dave and Nikki’s side is a bit too much, specially on Dave’s face. The light in the other side is much better (even though darks are still a bit too dark)
I feel Dave was so close to getting it this game, but over thought it. Keep in mind when you steal from someone they can't steal it back. Should of stole both of the Gray cubes that turn to be honest. =) Still fun looking game!
Yeah, I've never been a big fan of stealing in games, *especially* on the first play. Though it is a little "nicer" here because of the token requirement.

Yeah, I didn't notice that until after the game. It looks more obvious in that overhead shot than it does when you're sitting at the table.

He did say later that when he played it with others who were more "cutthroat" he was stealing. I think he just adapted his style to the other players
