I've heard that Jason Aaron literally wanted to reveal that the Phoenix was Thor's biological mother, but Donny Cates (who was writing Thor at the time) wouldn't stand for it, so they reached a compromise whereby Gaea still gave birth to Thor and the Phoenix resuscitated him after he died and became a foster mom of sorts. So if an EMT ever brings you back to life, they're your mom now.
There was an old X-men animated story about Storm having a child. It was the same scenario that a woman from her village gave birth to the child and the child stopped breathing and Storm performed CPR to resuscitate the infant. From that day on the mother considered Storm just as much the mother of her child as she was. She brought the child into the world and Storm breath life into him.
If they revive you with the Phoenix force, yes
If I ever die and someone brings me back o life then for sure I'd call them mom or dad.

So Thor has three mothers Gaea the Mother Earth and The Phoenix/Red Hair who blessed him with new life and his Thunder Powers,And Frigga who helped raise Thor with kindness and nurture a mother should provide Thor would be blessed and shocked to discover this

Thunder is from Thor. There was thunder in his birth before the Phoenix Force resurrected Thor. The Phoenix Force didn't give Thor the thunder. But it was revealed that Thor had Phoenix Force fire in him all this time because of being reborn by the Phoenix Force fire.
But yeah Thor has three Mothers. Maybe a fourth one pops out later 😂.

i feel a lot of this could have been avoided the troubles of the matter if she had made claim to be thor's aunt, rather than mother, as it would have been a lot clearer a picture at the time, and just making it as vauge as it was without this new context it made it seem as though it was not gaia that was his mom, so i feel is more accurate to say the phoenix is thor's aunt
Yeah, I think it was more of the situation were Jason Aaron was going to make that change but he later had to fix it back.. I have no proof of this and like I mentioned before i'm not sure if it was by choice or force

The Phoenix firehair the first human/ mutant planned Thor birth
But Gaia is Thor bio mom period
But Thor can tapped into a small amount of Phoenix force
Thor is really strong not only he has the hammer he can tapped into Gaia powers as well

If Thor could realize his full power set, He wouldn't even need the Hammer to fly. Being Gaea's son he could use the winds to do so or even more wild he could use *Charge separation*: The air in a thunderstorm cloud becomes electrically charged. The top of the cloud becomes positively charged, and the bottom of the cloud becomes negatively charged. Lightning can also travel through the ground, but it does not travel very far. The ground current is usually only a few feet deep. However, lightning can also travel through water, metal objects. . .

I guess they both could be considered his mother, it’s just that 1 is genetically his mother, while the other is literally his spiritual mother, his powers are both the child of the phoenix force, and the rebirth of Thor.

Frigga, or Freya, isn’t even Thor’s mother in Norse mythology. Not sure why they changed so much about him in the MCU though, I believe that’s a big reason why they’ve struggled to adapt his comics, because so much has been glossed over.

I was initially gonna roast Dope for this vid cause cates actively retconned this early in his Thor run. Assuming this is prior to that, it’s like hearing two halves of the same story from Odins baby mommas different pov’s and I think I’m a fan 🔥 👀🤷🏾♂️🙌🏾
