The only way I think deathlock's actions make sense is the idea that if robbie dies then his brother will also die or go down a bath path as result. So robbies sacrifice would save trillions but doom the person he truly did this for. That or its an infinity war game and there is only one way they ca win this.

1: Yeah nah original & cooler ghost rider origin> less cool retconned version of GR origin.
2: Yeah sacrifice can be warranted for soliders & some others who have no other options but not someone like Tony in the MCU who didn't need 2 & could've just used a easier better solution & been happy

This story was pretty meh since the start, tilting over to the bad side, but this part here unarguably pushes it to the bad and stupid category lmao
So many cool ideas wasted on such a bad story, it's like Marvel saw how bad Death Metal was and said "oh, I wanna try doing that" 😂
