Matt, great discussion. Thanks for bringing this topic to light. I feel that too often, people think that this sort of thing only happens in the South, but racism exists everywhere, and as someone who is also biracial, I think it's important to continue to push toward fair treatment for everyone.
Thanks Matt for sharing this important incident and issue on your platform. Was not aware of your own issues during your early school years. Thanks again
I am a teacher at a school that is very similar. Very high economic, majority white students, and majority white faculty(one year I was the only black teacher at my school). This would never happen at my school and if it did, I'm not letting it go down in front of my classroom. If the principal and security were there, I'm calling them out first in front of all of the students. This is taught at home and in the community. This didn't just start in school. The fact that the school district did absolutely nothing tells you all you need to know about Beverly Hills, California. This in not a southern thing, this is an American thing!

Yeah, I'd like to hear more.
This is unacceptable -but I’m so glad this was brought to light for everyone to know 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
This is wild. Good on Matt for bringing this forward.

Great segment, Matt.
Such important content. Thank you.
Important conversation
America, racism is taught
Never knew this was possible in “liberal” California
You people don’t know anything about what California..specifically Los Angeles is about. There is nothing liberal about California.
I’ve lived in Northern and Southern California and experienced it on numerous occasions, so I’m not surprised
