    It agree absolutely to your words ! THIS is NOT music for the masses !
    This is inspired music and it inspires audience, music you need time for, relaxation and the right mood. I rarely see (and hear of course) such a perfect emotional teamwork. Masters... wizzards... I'm fascinated.

    this is so much more soulful and fulfilling than most of the massed produced pop (pap imo) that saturates the airwaves worldwide (ok there is a place for everything and everyone's taste:) )...wish i could just touch some of these amazing instruments!
    peace and love from jamaica!!

    Mr. Didier Malherbe, the duduk player, sure adds a nice "jazzy" feel! Wish he had gotten a longer solo

    this is quite an exquisite song! Bravo!
    Can someone tell me what is the instrument played at 1:27 by the drummer, it seems like a sound pad or something like that.

    Hi, i have a newbie question regarding hulusi. What is the range of this instrument? Does it only cover like one octave with the main central pipe? If the hulusi is in key of Bb or C, what does that really mean? Thanks!

    @hectorsland
    It's a Sheng, a traditional Chinese instrument.

    • @kuang1987
      @kuang1987 4 роки тому

      Martin This one Nadishana plays in the piece is Hulusi, not Sheng. ua-cam.com/video/7GmwrOfjNxA/v-deo.html In this video you’ll get the Sheng. Completely different instruments.

      It’s called Hulusi (葫蘆絲) because it’s main part is made from a cucurbit (葫蘆/Hulu). Si(絲) refers to its silky sound.

      He was unconfortable with the key, closing a lot of mid holes... But he is an amazing musician!!
