    Yes please!!! Speak to self value for us all. I’ve followed you and been a customer even though I’m not a photographer. I’m an artist and building my own platform for women artists. So yes we need your leadership regardless of our business.

    I am following Sue Bryce for several years now and I have learned so many things - not only around photography (style, lighting, retouching and so on) but also, of course, the business side of it and why it is so important to look at and take care of your own, let's say, attitude (self worth etc.) when you want to create a sustainable income. More and more photographers are following Sues business model successfully - and so do I. The community is growing and so is the Sue-Bryce-educational system with more and more teachers, delivering well structured content, of which I can pick what suits best to me and my very own way of life. No matter if you are a beginner or if you consider yourself as advanced in what you do - there is always something we can learn from others and as I continuously want to evolve and get inspired and also because I am simply curious what other successful photographers all around world have to share, I love listening to the "The Portrait System" podcast, hosted by the very empathic Nikki Closser. She interviews real people who are telling us about their real businesses and sharing stories of their success and struggles and what they exactly did to overcome real problems. This is no boring wishy-washy-talk - instead it is really helpful and entertaining at the same time. Congratulations on 100 episodes and a big THANK YOU Nikki for this amazing podcast! I love it and I hope this goes on and on!

    Congratulation Nikki on the 100th episode! The Portrait System is the best podcast to listen to while retouching, driving a car or when looking for a motivational talk. I'm always positively inspired by Photographers interviewed by Nikki. Their stories, ups and downs, and happy endings. Thank you all for sharing :)

    Always love listening to The Portrait Masters! I have been able to learn so much more here than I learned getting my Bachelor of Arts in photography… Sue and all her peeps have a way of seeing what we really need to learn to build a profitable photography business and share it.

    Congratulations on the 100th episode! I have been inspired since the first episode and look forward to them every week. You're doing a great job Nicky! It's great to learn from the ones who are actually in business, to learn their successes but also the challenges and struggles.
    Keep bringing us the stories of photographers to give us strenth and ideas to start or improve our businesses and make us able to create the dream.
    This was a great episode with Sue, after a few years of 'knowing' her we continue to learn from and about her.

    Question? After 2020, business closed and now trying to figure out how to remake a high end location Pet Portraits any advice on starting over and remaking into a mobile business?

    • @romiemiller7876
      @romiemiller7876 2 роки тому

      The logistics of a mobile business can be difficult if you don't at least have an office, even if it's in your home or apartment. Clients need some place to meet with you besides a restaurant or such. They won't trust you at first if you can't be reached at a business location. You can do the work on location, but you need an identity as a local, physical business too.

    • @MiaogisTeas
      @MiaogisTeas 2 роки тому +1

      Depending on where you are, you could either partner with someone who has a physical location that you share/sublet, or if you're in a larger town or city, look for co-working spaces.
